As if physics cards that don't offer any value YET were bad enough... this company is planning to sell a 'gaming' network card for about the same price , 200 + USD.... Peliminary testing from IGN showed slightly higher frame rates and lower cpu utilization... Even if it does give you 10% more CPU time on a single core cpu.. for the price you can get a dual core , or a high end graphics card eg. x1800xt , 7900gt ...
They claim to be able to lower your pings significantly also... Which i believe is a pile of Bullsh!t... 99% of your ping is beyond your control , involving your ISP and physical distance , to decrease it you either need to find a way to go faster than light ( defy the laws of physics) or make your ISP spend a few million upgrading equipment.. This card probably just has software that 'tells' you the ping is lower..
Considering a major feature is that you can report an increased ping to a server .. so it probably works the other way as well.
Trying to cash in on people's stupidity is getting too stupid these days...
