I don't find it that that mind-f@#king.

I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist myself so something like this, the Batman cinema massacre, 9/11. Bin Laden killed etc etc etc all have a lot of unanswered questions and things that happened along side the events which do make you think. Bottom line is that events like this, especially when they happen in the US, always seem to trigger some very interesting response that seem to play into some larger scheme of sorts or act as a distraction to other things that are going on.

While it is unfortunate that people who weren't involved in the supposed "plot" were injured, this is the same country that ships their own off to die in foreign territory in order to maintain "peace" and "liberate" the weak. =/
