I feel your pain bro, I wouldda feel the same way. If you decide to send it back you will get an exchange without incident but it WILL cost you and they will not refund shipping costs.

It would be cheaper for you to have them send the adapter alone as well. Is up to you how you want to play it. Amazon is verry big on customer satisfaction so maybe you can use this to your benefit, perhaps either demand credit or some months of Amazon Prime for free (which is totally worth it btw)

Bottom line, ask for something back for your inconvenience.

Indeed, returns/exchanges tend to not be in our favour since shipping/duties etc. just make it that more costly to return. I assume they would just ship the missing parts separately.

WTMC @ me gettin a wine by proxy in a maxi tonight. I was sitting next to this woman and some "Teacher" started to play and she apparently couldn't help herself. I felt every twitch. o_O

I attended what was the most .... "interesting" of funerals ever:

- Deceased's nickname was Toad/Crapo/Frog (said so right on the programme); he died at age 61
- The 'minister' (I only using that term because he ent look like no deacon, priest or anything that convinces me he is really a church leader) used to work with the guy and was asked by the family to do the service
- The minister had to ask: "anyone want to say anything about the deceased?" Didn't initially look like anyone was willing to come forward at all.  eventually the  sisters and daughters came forward individually, albeit briefly
- The 'minister' is incapable of singing in time or in key... The worst rendition of Amazing Grace ever by the congregation..
- Another song he apparently didn't know the version on the programme, so the crowd sing one version and he loudly hums the version he knows... My ears were dying to go deaf.
- While the minister was giving his sermon, the son, obviously high on alcohol, walks up to the front and cuts off the Minister mid-flight, opens his father's coffin and asks some woman - maybe his gf - to come front and give a speech. The woman's dress was yellow with green pattern, quite short and definitely more suited to a disco or being on the block than to a church. This was about the 5th 'speech' given, granted that none were bonafide eulogies. All the speeches were identifying how they were related tot he man and then a reading of some Psalm.
- The whole time reggae songs blasting from a CD deck at the back...
- The 'structure' where the service was held had me wondering when the flooring or roofing would cave in...


Fast forward to the cemetery:

- Some 'normalcy' finally occurs in the form of tears from the family,  but that was soon overshadowed...
- the children surround the coffin and start drinking shots of alcohol and wet the lip of their father with the last drops....
- With my own eyes I see a daughter reach in to the dead man's jacket and pull out a roll-on and the son begins to smoke it openly in front of everyone declaring that his dad will bury after the roll-on finish smoke, of course calling his close friends and siblings to join him in smoking. Remember he still have alco in him...
-Eventually the son sings one of Bunji Garlin's older songs.. at least I was convinced how much he loved his dad

-It all ends with the son almost burying his dad himself with the shovel.. I doubt the grave diggers complained...

The deceased left behind 8 kids. I go sound bad after all I just write, but it seems that this guy's simple ways of 'living off the land' had its benefits:

WTMC at these hit and run drivers. heard it had an accident near the beetham yesterday morning whjere a purple almera clipped the back bumper of a celica. the celica flipped a few times and the woman was flung from her car and died even though she had on her seatbelt.

 the driver of the purple almera stopped for a few seconds on seeing this then sped off. so sad. witnesses said the driver of the purple almera was speeding through traffic switching lanes and thats when the accident happened. deepest consolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased.

Update on my MC moment yesterday with Amazon.

They responded to my email with the news that they've sent another router to me "free of charge" to my skybox. The thing is I have to send it back in 30 days or I they gonna charge my CC.......

So going to find out today if the cost to send it back will be more that jus letting them charge the CC after the 30 days.....MC...

Man, the booties were THAT fine and were identical in shape...... Lil bit again I say they were photoshopped (using said CTRL-C and CTRL-V!) from one daughter to the other..


WTMC and trying to find out why a server at work kept running out of disk space. Did a manual pruning of uneeded students files (Halo, UT, music, multipe copies of Roxio) only to find the space being freed was being eaten just as fast as I freed it!


Thanks to CCleaner, Jdiskreport and Foldersize tools I found the solution.

The culprit? IAOLOG.DAT at 20GB..... a single file that is not a video file taking up over 1/3 of the disk space.

To discover this just as I was about to order new 146GB SCSI drives for the server at US$250 each due to said low disk space....
