- My XP-64 install crash one me due a known bu seemingly unsolvable error (and a apparently failing hard disk on top of that!)

- A friend's flight to the USA being delayed twice yesterday, resulting in me making THREE trips from Diego to airport to 'see him off' (the first trip allowed us to see the fatal crash wreck) He had already 'overstayed' a week (to his benefit) due it being canceled when was to leave last week.

5am - flight delayed (flight crew partied till 4am that morning and were too tired to perform duty!!! American Airlines!!)

noon - flight delayed (flat tyre and no spare)

midnight - success!!

- a full 7 days passing without WTMC stories from GATTers. Things real nice this year indeed.

My WTMCs since starting my new job:

- 6th formers 'castrating' all the mice in the computer lab: ever mouse was missing it's ball. Genocide I tell you! Ended up being part of the purchase of 35 replacement optical mice.

- Quickly becoming 'most wanted' by co-workers as news spread that I'm the new IT guy...

- A form 5 student MASHING down the heel of my brand new work shoe as i walked past him and his fellow students in the corridor. He was immediately sent to staff room within 15 seconds, me barking behind him all the way. I guess that was the 'test by students' I was warned about.
