Was confirmed.

House was sprayed with bullets, wife recieving treatment. I left home this morning watching him saying how he feels safe as the army up in diego, then to hear that happen. WOW!

I think it's time to stop talking and start acting, LEVEL LIHIXX in dem criminal MC!!!! curfew, beatings, interrogations, whatever it takes to flush dem out I say... MCS all of dem!

Ha, ha.....yeah right. Only way that'll happen is if somebody with the last name of 'Manning' bites the big one.

In all honesty, though, it's only a matter of time before the crooks make the fatal mistake of taking out somebody really important before the legal system declares an all out war on crime. For some odd reason, it always takes one person to be sacrificed before people actually give a s**t about things that need to be done.

For example, when that army officer was murdered? Lockdown in Morvant (I don't know the exact place, please feel free to correct me where I'm wrong.)
When Hope was killed? People started to raise an uproar and the higher-ups in Government now start to consider passing further laws to protect children.

I'm not saying that the activist's wife wasn't an important person, mind you.
What I'm saying, though, is that this incident, as tragic as it is, won't lead to an all out lockdown on Trinidad. Maybe a few fiery protests and an uproar from the general public, but nothing much further than that.

LOL at going to a place I used to work

I was outside the building, talking to one of the employees there. One other employee who I used to work in the same department as learned the ways of the [censored] passed so close to me with out looking at me I could have elbowed him for fun.

About half hour later while I was in the building talk to other workers in the lobby he passed by, same straight face,and made sure to kick the half-open door to the employees only area so that it closed in. More LOL.

I just want to remind him (and his boss) of one very important lesson I learned while working there:

NEPOTISM = HOMOSEXUALITY

I heard the department I used to work in is now worse that a security guard in a Charlotte street grocery. And still no room for mental progress. T'was part of the reason I left there there was no kind of stimulation of the mind, no means for growth. The nepotism was that the boss of my department gave him rank over me when he was only there 6 months and i was there over a year and more qualified than him, and he was involved in the tasks that I would like to been involved in. The guy quickly made him disliked among the office in no time flat. In fact, said boss essentially told me to my face that he liked having his ass licked. Needles to say, i didn't stick around for too much longer after that. I was already doing my own thing on the side, so to leave there would not have hurt much financially.

At some point I get to find out boss and the guy have family ties.It would explain why another person who is a cousin of the promoted guy get off scot free for a serious offense that would have gotten anyone else fired forthwith (having SEX in the office with his girlfriend during late shifts), and he's even a supervisor now. That lone department has a turnover rate as high as Tru Valu Diamond Vale, while EVERYONE else who worked in that building when I left are all still there. I hope they are all happy in there. I am certainly happy I got out of there.

WTMC @ my PC BSODing as i start GRID this morning, only to find out that my boot drive is no longer recognised under Windows -> dead DEAD!!

i shall now be using Acronis to image backup my OS drive.

Yes, I 'gave birth' to this thread on September 1st 2006. 4300+ posts later it still going strong.

WTMC at taking out my pregnant best friend to dinner at TGI Friday's tonight and everybody in the place watching me like I am the unborn baby's daddy. It did feel nice though.
