Things that make you go WTMC?!?!?

To be honest, I feel like my blood pressure's hitting the roof right now.
Then again, it might be me "taking the internets way too srsly, you guys"

But, I do have something to answer for, so I'll do it here, now.

A while ago (3 years ago), I had done a concept drawing for a character called 'Evil NEO'. I was pretty proud of it, mind you, so you could pretty much imagine that my ego was 'X-BAWKS HYUGE'.
I put it up on the Trinitaku forums, expecting some feedback.

Then, along comes a user called 'Heihachi Mishima'.
Now, he points out some things that made me angry at the time, but he was, in fact, correct.
Namely, that 'Evil NEO' was basically a soup mixture of Sub-Zero, Baraka and Kano.

Of course, he didn't put it that lightly, whatsoever. So, we had a falling out, and, in the end, he was admonished for being a troll, and my thread ended up locked because of the conundrum.

However, after a while, I thought about what he said, and worked a bit to modify the character, so that he was more 'original'. I gave him a new name to reflect his personality (namely, 'Scorn'), added a more samurai-ish pattern to his clothes, and, seeing as how he was an off-shoot of my 'New Era Outlaw' character, gave him a version of my jacket.

True, he does still have that MK-ish air about him, but here's the part camrE didn't explain to you that I have tried to do for him.

Scorn is actually an homage to Mortal Kombat, from his murderous, anti-social attitude to some elements of the clothing he wears. To an extent, he's also an homage to Kane (the belts around his legs as well as being the deranged 'evil brother from hell' character when compared to the New Era Outlaw). To be honest, I think I designed him more for the latter than the sooner.

I think you can see elements of homage in some of the things I draw, but not all of them.
Crystal, for example, has a touch of Chun-Li in her, and Blackhawk? Albeit unintentionally (since he was conceived way before Tekken 5), you could see a bit of Raven in Blackhawk (as a matter of fact, I had to change his name due to the similarity.

Other characters, however, you'd be damn hard pressed to find any comparison. Saw anybody who looks like this in fiction yet?

So, really now.
If that guy was trying to convince you guys that I'm an unoriginal dink without as much as a creative thought in my head, he's failed, to say the very least. True, I do have some homages in my work, but not all of them. MK fanboy I might be, but at least I have the right to pay some homage to something I like through my work.

- TSTT telling me that there is a $25 'service charge' to remove Smart Choice from my land line.

I have not used my phone line for 3 months now (bill has hit a minimum of $342 as a result) and to reduce phone charges as the line is primarily for internet alone now. I was on Smart Choice Bronze, paying $100 a month.

I had referenced  sometime aog a situation where AT&T is now charging customers extra to go to store to pay their bills. it seems that TSTT will soon be following this trend...


- I sent off that letter to the India Embassy via TTPOST courier. Today, a week later, I had to call TTPOST to find out if they delivered the package yet. Delivery is yet to be made! They even called me back to ask WHERE the place is so that they can give it to the correct driver to deliver it!
Oh come on!! This should have been delivered since last week Friday!! FedEx can get my package to the USA in 24 hours!  A local courier takes more than a week to get a package from Diego Martin to POS??

lol i have a common situation there i have a package from my mom from us. i check my mailbox like every 3 days
i finally got a letter stating that i have a package n to come collect it i got there the following day to hear n i quote

"well i sorry nah, buh we had dat ting for 3 months n d boss say dat it had to go bac nah. sorry eh.?!"
there was no response from d boss nor d workers... someone eventually told me that it had some "items" that were stolen from said office n seeing that they dont know what it was i can not claim for it... so even if it was a camera or something they had no proof that it was there in d first place...

WTMC when a Subaru Impreza STI's wingmirror comes into contact with yu elbow hitting you directly on your funny bone (now I need not explain the sensation youg et when you hit your funny bone). The real WTMC part is that I completley broke off the housing for it and the guy comes running at me expecting me to give him money back for it.

Another funny point I am 6"2 300+ and the guy is like 5"8 and 150- or so and comes railing up at me on the southern main road. Talk about wrong and "strong"?

More impotantly, where u walking along the road or on a sideewalk? Cause there are 2 parts to this:
1. Yuh were in the road and he cyah drive so he hit yuh
2. yuh weren't on the road and he cyah drive so he hit yuh

In the first case i'd say u are wrong and even more so to think that ur size validates someone not approaching you to get what's rightfully theirs which is common in the mfing backwards country

In the second, he's just plain STUPID. Not only would he be wrong but ON TOP of that, he riling up for a man that bigger than him, still a common occurence in the mfing backward country.

I went hi-lo yesterday and when I told the girl I wanted a kilogram of ham she said she couldn't sell me a kilo coz they sell it by the 100 grams... so I told her well give me 10 times 100 grams... she said ok!!!! when she was slicing the ham everytime she reached 100 grams and put it in the balance she asked if it was enough... I tryed my best to say it again with a straight face "no sweetheart... u have to make the whole 10 trips" S**T man!!!!!
