dred, they does always wake up between them hours, some ah them does have family home, waiting till they done shift to run back out, thats how they does make, when i used to head sando i used to stop and eat by balmain, and in the evening stop by presal to buy from the same people again, them wucking shift like operator

I for one has stopped eating doubles/kfc. I one of few but i'm making my stand until my pay (which seems to be the only thing not increasing) i can't afford gourmet doubles.

Im on a forced diet now, i can't afford to go to the respective food establishments to get food anymore TGI is celebration location, and KFC seems to get gunning for that list too.

I could only imagine the nightmare my mother faces when she goes to the grocery now....*lights a candle*

Whatever i want it to fall too i say we force them doubles/kfc/whoever else raising the food to ungodly prices to drop them by eating stuff at home and not buying. On a lighter note the lines at KFC in siparia are noticably shorter than before lol im guessin alot of ppl on this force diet. i does look in the window longingly but the wallet holds me back.

Thank God coin is still $1.00 in St James. In any case, I only know of the malls pushing that price for coins i.e. $2 - $2.50 a coin. Which arcade is that, Cross?

I stopped eating doubles since the UNC went back to opposition anyway. Let's just say it was a tense time and I'm paranoid.

Lol.... who cares bout the arcade price of coins! Just tape a 5 cents to a 10 cents or depending on the machine, two tencents on either side of a 5 cents and stick it in!

Just take all ur loose change in your free time and stick em together, it'll save you a dollar or two..

...and the only reason price gouging is actually happening is cuz damn trinis too proud to argue price AT the moment they paying; they will make all the noise and talk amoung friends about how terrible things are, and how expensive things are in trinidad. but trini like the doubles, and the cheese, and bread (don't forget Carnival) too much to make a Bhuddist stand against paying ridiculous prices!!

The flour that most doubles vendors use (45kg) has been increased by $60.00.  Do you know how many doubles can be produced from a 45kg of flour?
 
Let me tell you. 1,200 doubles, yes twelve hundred and some good doubles vendors can get 1,500.
 
So let's use 1,200. If your 45kg bag of flour has been increased by $60.00….Do the math.
 
OK OK,  let me do it for you….Your doubles went up by 5 cents.
 
Still want to buy doubles for $4 and $5? …..Feel FREE !!!!!
