Sherwyn Joseph scolded a four-year-old boy for breaking eggs and was shot dead minutes after the child's relative threatened him for what he did on Thursday night in Sea Lots, Port of Spain.

Joseph worked at the National Flour Mills, but that night he was at home when he saw the four-year-old and his friend, also aged four, breaking the neighbour's duck eggs.

According to Sea Lots residents, the neighbour was looking forward to the eggs hatching, as she rears ducks to help supplement her income.

Amid the tightly-packed houses, Joseph saw what was going on and walked outside and told them not to do it.

"What allyuh doing that for?" he reportedly shouted and "tapped" one of the boys on the head. The other boy (Joseph's relative) was not hit. Both children then ran off.

The child who was "tapped" ran to his mother and told her what happened. That boy's mother later told the Express that she continued to scold her own son over what he had done. She did not want to be named but said, "I make sure and correct my child."

The other boy ran to his female relative as well. She asked him what happened and he told her. Enraged, she walked over to Joseph's house and started to "cuss him out" for scolding the boy. He argued back and explained to her why he shouted at the boy. They argued. It was a heated quarrel.

Finally, she walked off, shouting at him, "your shot call!"

This man was killed within probably 30 minutes of telling a four year old boy not to break a neighbour's duck eggs. The offending child's mother did not like that someone else disciplined her child, and had him killed forthwith.

I hope the WPCs in the police station where they took her beat her @$$ and take her child away from her. You have no right to be a parent.  And the boy was not even the one who got tapped!

WTMC @ killed for eggs. I read that story and was IMMEDIATELY pissed off. Imagine, the breadwinner for an entire household killed because he looked out for his neighbour's livelihood, another breadwinner. Those ducks are how the woman made a living.

Bottom line - The honest and law abiding can't even look out for each other anymore. It reminds me of a quote I saw when someone was referring to the cops in T&T:

"We've not only hit rock bottom, we've started digging."

I know, but it had to be done.
Picture this in your mind, if you will- a person with a heart condition visits the forum, and he sees that game. He says, "Hey, this looks like fun." and starts playing it.

Then, all of a sudden- "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!"
He gets a heart attack, ends up in the hospital and probably dies.

I know, that's a rather extreme example.
In most cases, screamers irritate a lot of people, and, especially if seen late a night, can rob a few of them of sleep as well.

That's why they aren't allowed here.

Sadly, Trinitus broke that rule, so now, he gets a week off. Hopefully, when he comes back, he'll give those rules a browse through and know better next time.
