Imagine i'll be attending college about an hour away from there in Lynchburg :S... the freaking news interrupted my soaps with that incident and up to now they didn't say who the killer was or why he did it!

I was gonna post the Akon bit, but the only person I feel sorry for is the girl on stage. I do not feel sorry however for the meelions of patrons that attended. Now you see what the artist that you all love & support so thinks of y'all. I hope y'all learn from this (I would have drawn refference to the concert with elephant mand and other jamaican performers that did not show and mess allyuh up, but dais a next wtmc)

with regards to what artists think of the fans, at the end of the day, they just out to make money yes.. they human just like us.. cah really hero-worship them, when they've done nothing to deserve it (why someone would hero-worship elephant is beyond me.lol)

Dude can sing, I like most of his tracks, and that's all that should matter. To me the person behind the song or whatever is irrelevant. If said person produces good material...well thats all.

I don't reall care for akon, never did, never will. Some of his songs are good, some are ok. All in all I agree with unknown to an extent, in that you cyah be expecting too much of the person being an artist as they are in the end just out to make money. However I do take stripes away for the POOR research into the type of society yuh performing in. As an entertainer, you may not owe anyone anything personally, however your JOB is to entertain. That entails looking into the type of crowd yuh have to perform for and they society they come from. Jes because you are a certain way, doesn't mean where yuh going will appreciate yuh 'typical' style. Again its not personal, in fact, an entertainer should detract a little and perform for their crowd. I guess at the end of the day, T&T is small pickings for him so it doh matter to him. AH well.. FIIIIIIYUUUHHHHHHH!
