-When at 2.40am this morning, some- f*****g-body PERSISTS in calling you  to ask you to help them configure a dial up connection over the phone, then is "nice enough" to point out to you that you can explain everything to them so well given that they woke you up in the middle of the night!!

Well boy i now look at my cell phone call log.....

yuh know the guy really call me at 11: 40 PM! (my cell phone clock set to 24-hour time) so when i do watch the time, see 23:39 and think is 2:39am....

I was really out of it.... but having a good laugh with the same caller later this morning... he was amazed that
1. I was so out of it to misread teh time coz I tell him it was 2.40am, yet
2. I still answer all his questions accurately...

-You are the reserve 'keeper for Tranquillity Gov't Sec Intercol team in 1998. 2nd Round vs Arima.

Coach decides he doesn't need a reserve 'keeper and drops you from the bench before the game starts, so you have to watch the game from the stands.

Half time score: Arima 2-0 Tranquil

Marvin Lee*  scores a brilliant free kick and a penalty to bring Tranquil back in the game.

88th minute. An Arima forward crosses the ball across the top of the box... Tranquil keeper runs to top of box and make a sliding catch that takes him out the box... from the stands it is clear that the keeper let go of teh ball as he slides out the penalty area,  but the ref say handled ball out the box: RED CARD!![/color]

You watch from the stands in heartbreaking horror as Marvin is forced to take the keeper jersey (as you, the reserve goalie, is in the stands). Two free kicks in the space of two minutes from teh same spot outside the box equals 2 goals as Arima win 4-2.

You bawl knowing that even as possibly the isshiest player on the team you would've saved those freekicks and possibly send that game to extra time....and go home in emotional shambles... especially after you train like @$$ for 9 months just to make that team (yuh literally learn to save in that time)... yuh even repeat A levels just for that purpose...

To this day I have never forgiven my coach. And I probably never will.


* - yes, that same (now deceased) Marvin Lee who fractured his neck during a football game a few years ago and had the tunapuna stadium named after him... as a matter of fact the game was played in that same stadium

Seeing this post here, I have a good bit of scenarios.

-Yuh with a guyl in a good make out session when yuh padnuh calls d first time for tech help. He calls another 3 times varying in between 10 and 20 minutes, and finally calls to ask you to come to his house. With that amount of ineruptions from before, the girl gets so turned off she asks u to take her home. (Leaving san fernando to drop her st. augustine & then to yuh padnuh living in sangre grande)

-When somebody give yuh a wicked bad drive and while I blowing my horn for dem, dey wanna get more vex than me.

-When the driver of another car violates your side of the road and clean off d wingmirror. U spin around in a rage and do a NFS style chase for the driver. Only to catch up and relaize is one ah dem convent chicks that now get their licence and giving u attitude for chasing and stopping them (By stopping I mean overtake them, hit d hand brakes and stop d car at an angle where they cannot drive foward & in the same motion I come out the car, get the spanner from the trunk and runs towards the other car)

-When u park infront of someone who moving real slow (I behind the person, they taking amillion years to move. I overtake d person and fly in d space) They come out at you and starts hitting the car. You now get real vex and start to mouth off. She then reaches in her purse and takes out a heavy object (to this day I still dunno what it was) and give u a nice slap across the face (so hard it knocks off your glasses) Two security gurds witness the event but fail to move.

-When a small man (guessing bout standard 5) comes playing he can come round you with his 3 other padnuhs. Take it as a joke at first but the persistence gets to you.

-When a client calles u every three hours (not kidding) for their computer and wondering why it is taking so long, when u complete the job, they take an eternity to pay you and suddenly become silent

-When a client thinks that everytime something goes wrong with the computer it is the technician's fault. U go and investigate and relaize some smart man gone messing around in the windows folder. You fix the PC and they screw around so much to pay. (They are now reffered automatically to an A+ certified technician that charges three figure sums)

-When this girl that ent even know u were alive in school, suddenly found out yuh get yuh licence and yuh driving, goes through hell on earth to get your number and automatically wants to become your friend

Qloxx, I get that same ting with the skybox one time. My gf ordered a Plantronics headset for $20 US and de dotish @$$ customs people say it cost $100 US. Needless to say, the customs bill was atrocious and de gf was furious. What I doh understand is how they could put their own price on something when Amazon always includes an invoice with the exact price you paid.

-wen yuh walk out on d bus route after school...an aint get ah maxi.....u an yuh frens decide it mite b nice to walk to san juan(didnt get ah maxi there either).....we walked to aranguez(didnt get ah maxi there either).....walk to the carib factory to see if we cud get ah drop wit one ah meh fren fadda(guess wat [her pops taught it was her alone so we didnt get the drop]).......we then walked to st. joseph where some lil fellas(literally) try to hold we up W/O weapons.........LOL(but still bad).........we end up walkin to curepe from Barataria to get ah maxi....STUEPZ

I sorry, some people tell me I too quick to be violent, but EACH of these bad-driving 'persons' would have been left writhing on the ground FORTHWITH!! In particular the one who lick off your glasses: I'd have marked that car and air the tyres every time is see it or something. If I have to spend a night in jail after, so be it!! I doh discriminate by  gender if i am wronged and yuh givin me attitude with it or worse yet yuh lash meh.

as for your fight down friend.. i'd use ye classis "hit-n-run" jutsu...
- when west indies cricket team manage to throw away anotherr one-day match: From a strong position at 173-! to be all out for 201 (9 wickets lost in 28 balls!)
