WTMC at spending 3 hours trying to remove spyware, and the customer waits until after all that time passed to express her concerns about using her credit card online on her PC.

Admittedly I had decided beforehand that I wasn't going to re-load windows, but she could have said this all the time dammit! I would have just did the re-load forthwith. Now I have to go back to backup, re-load, restore on near gratis time.

At least customer paid me for my time spent so far forthwith.

One lesson to be learnt: If you can't get off all the spyware in 90 minutes, re-install windows and spare yourself the headache.

What program were you using to try to get rid of the spyware? I came across a program called Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware the other day.

I swear by this program now as it detected and removed a whole heap of spyware that neither Adaware nor Spybot could even pick up.

And the program did it all, and it was a trial version!!

yea captain awesome.. i use that same program.. works like a charm.. it Mr. T's dem stuupid spyware... i used it to remove some vundo infections.. damn annoying bs things..what bitdfender didn't want to move.. that little program wiped out the rest... very good program.

WTMC at Laertes and TheApprentice (yes, I calling you two out!) having nothing better to do than to harass a non Trini-newcomer to GATT. I doh care what allyuh say: (Oh it's "suspicious" he confused Hotel Mariott with Hyatt! His english typing got worse! OMG, a Japanese guy named "CHAN"!)

Who appointed you to determine if Chan is really Japanese or not? In a time and a country where people getting snatched/killed/robbed left right and centre and the criminals doing this have no fear of being punished, he didn't have to tell us he was staying in any hotel!!

A simple newbie welcome needlessly turned into an impeachment. We probably chased away the guy and have him now saying "Trinis are the most disgusting people!"

NEO, I am sorry for taking this to the WTMC thread, but I will avoid pursuing this matter any further as of this post. The purpose of this thread is to vent about the thing that make us go "WTMC", and I am doing just that. I would think we are allowed to vent at/about other GATT members in a 'diplomatic matter' (without insulting them) so long as it is a valid, objective reason that promotes critical thinking, and you not just being a baby or a b***h about the topic of/reason for your rant.
