WTMC when it costs $1,560.92 TT to import a PS3 from Amazon, on TOP of the $499 US cost of the console itself.

Breakdown:      Freight         = 294.52 (17 lbs @ 2.75 US/lb)
                    'Insurance'      = 50.40
                    Customs duty  = 640.00
                    Import VAT      = 576.00

Good thing it wasn't my money.
Somebody will have to BRING a PS3 for me when they comin back to TnT yes.

- when a customer tells you he buy a used laptop (Dell Inspiron 6400) without the power adapter, you import a generic one for him.
- when on investigating the the laptop, you find the following:
   - The Windows XP Sticker with Product Key under the laptop was removed.
   - The Laptop only has 11GB of free space on an 80GB hard drive. which apparently is how current user got it.
   - The laptop registration data is to a person who obviously works at a Ministry
   - You find lots of photos, apparently taken by previous owner, related to his work dated up to early this year. Apparently former owner is close to Mister as several pics of the minister at various functions in the last 18 months are found, along with pics from various ministry social functions. you also find an MS Access database of student names for a school in south. Kinda strange that the previous owner would not remove his files before selling... and of that nature too.
  - a check on Dell's support site reveals that the laptop is just a year and a half old and has a 4 year Complete Care warranty that expires in 2009! (something few home users would take due to the cost)

my conclusion: STOLEN GOV'T LAPTOP!!!

Good thing my customer happens to always have to wear a grey shirt and navy blue pants to go to work...
