I understand that it was a thinking man's shooter, but I still don't get why they had all the jumping. Jumping on tiny platforms in first person is not exactly making more use of your brain, just those twitch muscles you use in platform games. I tend to make those jumps better on a console with a controller in my hand as opposed to a keyboard and mouse. The AI was so good that they could have left out most of the those platform elements and still had a great game.

-the accident that happened just after prize plaza chaguanas this morning.....the car was unrecognisable and wrapped around a pole

When i passed ppl were now rushing to try to take whoever out from the wreck..... no ambulance no police.

-when a user calls and informs you their machine cannot restart/log off/shutdown... you instruct him to press the power button until it shuts off.....still doesn't work

WDMC @ I buy a USB-to-Serial converter and it work for 5 mins (gratned it OLD looking eh) and now 3 days later I still waiting on replacement/refund. I will not mention the place nor person yet as I have left it to good graces that the issues will be rectified asap. Otherwise let the flame begin!

when power goes at uwi and the PCs, though being plugged into the orange socket that supposedly has filtered UPS power, drops like a stone ..... what kinda mickey mouse joint is this that doh have a generator or ups?

when it comes back, yuh smellin a burning plastic smell.. yuh power supply shot.. ( granted is a old P3) but still

when uwi runs out of gate forms and gettin replenished in 2 weeks

i just want to leave..

so i'm a person. fairly ordinary. young average for the most part.
so i broke cause i just finish cxc looking to make some money to buy some stuff you know regular post-cxc stuff.
and i.. in my infinite wisdom decided to help someone fix some computer based issues. started out as regular partition table corrupted-> copy reformat and restore files.. turned into something a lil more costly(about $1700) cause the first that didn't work blah blah blah in the end turned into a complete overhaul new mobo/ram/cpu/hdd (person was running some worn out SD whatever.) so i take my lil black behind and eagerly organise the parts for the person running through chaguanas in the hot sun like a lil homeless person, with nothing better to do. so i organise all that (note i start lunch time) and finish half way through the tv6 late night movie (LUCY if you wondering wasn't too bad). that wasn't the first day of work but i was certainly the hardest. and then to hear someone who was particularly helpful(no sarcasm he did help out a lot no argument there) say................... I not supposed to get paid I just do a course i not qualified...

so i must ask... WTMC?

how much does someone work for about 12-14 hours and then be told he too young to be paid? WTMC?!!

Qualification is irrelevant. You did a job and you are to be paid for services rendered. IT is not Medicine...there is no board requiring that you be qualified to be paid or to practice so smack that f**ker across the face and demand your money.
