Former President Noor Hasanali is dead

Mr. Noor Hasanali, former president of T&T died, and was also buried today.

The news came to me as a real surpise, more for the burial than anything else.
Cause of death not known.

He's the only president who didn't allow alcohol at the President's House.

I pretty much doubt there's really any conspiracy theory involved. You see, unless foul play is involved, autopsies aren't really performed on Muslims, and they are buried the same day they pass away, or at least, as soon as humanly possbile. At least, that's what I've been told, anyway. So that could be the reason why the cause of death is 'unknown'.

Truth be told, Noor was a man advanced in his years (88 years of age, to be precise), so his death by natural causes wouldn't be too far off as the reason.

Last news I heard at 5PM say he died in his sleep.. So we can confidently say he died of natural causes...

(but what defines a "natural" death?)

Noor always came across as a good President during his tenure.

I knew some of his family. They had a house down in the south land where I went to school. In Beach Camp to be exact.

Sure he is in a better place now.

yeah the death isnt the surprising thing. Its the fact that he is our former ex president and he was allowed to be buried without a state ceremony and stuff. Yeah people have their beliefs and stuff, buh i mean we eh even get time to hang de flag at half mast before dey bury him.
