Well tech wise I cyah say... doubtful... clothes cheap, nice weapon stores (swiss army knives, etc), food cheap (if albeit, potentially posioning).... I guess the best thing in Venezuela are the women, and thee are ALOT OF THEM.... I would say yeah a Hottie would definitely be a good buy in venezuela... but umm that'd be encouraging slackness and heck it's a married man after all... but yeah the WOMEN are not just good but amazing in that country...

That would be correct... however you can tell when they 40, they start to look like their face made of concrete. Still looking good from far, but up close, you'd swear yuh could take a sledge hammer to a face and not worry 0_o

If the women don't like Trinidadians cuz they are always taking the women, then why are there so many here?

If you mean the men don't like Trinidadians......who cares......take their woman (hell, take their woman's sister too)...and you'll never have to see them again.
I'd believe u if you were right.

Didn't spend much time checking out tech stuff on my last trip (I will not go into the reasons as the replies make it obvious that you all know what I was spending my time checking out).  But seriously unless your father is in Margarita or some other duty free port (yes the whole island works on reduced import tax schemes) you probably not going to see much benefit in buying "imported" goods like tech stuff.

I mean they have cell phones coming out their .... well you can guess... but that's pretty much the same for T&T and prices not that much better from what I remember seeing but as I say I was not paying much attention to the phones.

They do have endless pirated DVD's and CD's (but it have ones with 3 or 5 movies on the disc if you want, I assume that the quality is crap), they also had console and PC games on sale that I saw. And before anyone start harping on me I know we do not support piracy.... I just mentioning it because of the prevalence over there, aslo I doubt I want to play my games in Spanish.

Gold is NOT a good buy right now, and tell pops to leave his jewelry at home too.

Margarita had some good prices for digital cams in some spots that I noticed, but I wasnt in the market for them so again no real prices to tell you.

BTW for allyuh information those girls are NOT in their 40s. Mostly they are in their late 20's and early 30's when their skin starts to look like crap. That is of course a generalisation based on what I observed, but I did enough interaction with the locals to feel able to make that statement.

chakura to dat statement...ALCOHOL is the real flick. So long as you drink responsibly; it won't let you down, it won't cheat on you and it won't hurt your feelings...unlike some...(anyways lemmie hush my @$$)

Also Venezuela has some good chocolate. My late uncle's former girlfriend was from venezuela and she brought some kick @$$ chocolate wafers for me. I was wide eyed with joy and so forth. Hopefully the quality of the chocolate remains consistent and hopefully the prices didn't raise ^_^

Yeah alco is cheap as dirt.... but what is the quality like? last I checked (and to be honest that was a WHILE ago) it wasn't all that great. So the saying goes cheap ting no good and good ting no cheap :p but thats a subjective saying. Quality is in the belly of the bottle :)

...just be sure to carry whatever alcohol you've got in your suitcase on the way back (obviously, you can't carry it in carry-on baggage). Actually, you're better off buying alcohol at the airport in the duty-free stores, for that reason.

Neo check my last post in just a joke to 'see' the solution to the airport security checks... it SHOULD in the least speed up the process save if some UBER HOT chick decides to do it... >_<
