The Protector / Tom Yum Goong

This movie is finally coming to the US, Tom Yum Goong, now renamed "The Protector", starring Kick Ass, Tony Jaa (from Ong Bak). The trailer looks mad good, I am including this clip (may be a spoiler for some, but the action is mad) . He does his own stunts and is reminiscent of Bruce Lee. But his style is Thai. Check it out.

I have this movie. BY ALL MEANS GO SEE THIS whenever it comes to T&T.  Bruce Lee WISHED he could do HALF of the things I've seen Tony Jaa do in this movie.  'KICK ASS' is an understatement.

Good movie but I still prefer Ong Bak 2 ...just for the scene when the strong guy tossed the elephant!

he is good, but to downplay bruce lee like that is really not cool arc

tony jaa uses wire work when he hits guys to make the impact look more badass

bruce never did, he just used to hit men that hard

like in game of death where he kicked that guy into the third row of people
that was for real
the guy is actually now famous for being kicked like a can.

Don't take my comments the wrong way Crixx.  Bruce Lee is STILL the baddest, but i made that statement looking at the moviemaking/stunt-work element.  Bruce Lee was not a stuntman in today's sense, so he had to do all the martial-arts for real, and then try to make it look good for the screen.

Oh and Flip, FYI, this movie and 'Ong Bak 2' is the SAME MOVIE.
