Shin megami Tensei: Nocturne, one of the hardest games i've ever played, with some of the most inventive boss battle i've ever seen

Just finished Splinter Cell for PS2 last night. That game is an instant classic. At first, it takes some getting used to all the sneaking around and Sam's vulnerability. After a while, though, it becomes second nature. You start a level and immediately crouch and go to a dark area. Then, you check out the surroundings and move from there. That SC-20K is the $hit. A sniper rifle/automatic in one with a $hitload of secondary fire options. That ranks right up there with the most elite weapons in a game. Anyone who has not played this game should definitely give it a try but be prepared to be killed often, at first anyway.

LOL for real dude......the first splinter cell I played was Pandora's tomorrow, which was the second installment.
When I played it I had the impression that is was a Syphon Filter type game.....don't know why the hell I got that idea. Then I went in with the run and gun mentality.
My a** got tacked and compromised beyond recognition and since then I appreciated the art of stealth and ingenuity.
A classic stealth game in my watch, second to Metal Gear of course! ^_^

I just finished Monopoly Tycoon for PC. It is quite interesting because it uses all the properties from Monopoly and builds a tycoon-style game around it. If the gameplay did not work, it would be another failed licensed game but this one really works. The major aspect of the game that differs from regular Monopoly is building of stores on properties. For example, you can build a bakery on Baltic or Boardwalk. All properties are available to be built on when the game begins. You can adjust prices on goods in your stores to ensure that they sell out each day. The day goes like a normal day usually does ... 9-5 for day businesses and 6-12 for night ones. The difference in building on different properties is the price of the business. Businesses on Boardwalk are a lot more expensive than Baltic. You can also bid for the lease of a property. This is where the old Monopoly stuff comes in. There is an auction for the property and the winner gets a lease for a certain time. If you own all the leases on a block, you get a Monopoly and can then buy out all businesses that are not your own for a substantial discount. You can also build hotels which count like another store (selling stayovers). Owning a property also means that you don't pay rent for your stores on that property and collect rent from other businesses. Basically, if you are into business, like tycoon style games or even if you just like Monopoly, you are guaranteed to like this game.
