I played Illusion of Gaia about 5 months ago and I beat it...
I was extremely stoked too...especially due to the fact that I left my Super Nintendo and all my game cartridges in the U.S, and I didn't get to finish it at the time.

i just finish ico, after playing shadow of the colossus. It wicked, and for a 2001 title the graphics are gorgeous. The game even better than shadow.

I could now see where the recent prince of persia trilogy got its gameplay inspiration.

Max Payne was amazing. You really feel like you in a John Woo movie with all the diving and bullet time shooting. Mobscene, who is that in your avatar? She should be in the hottest women thread.

Now playing:

ESPN NFL 2K5 - The Crib has a hold of me and will not let go. It is a portion of the game that I would like to see in more sports games. Basically, you have your own crib which has few items to start. As you play, you earn crib credits which you use to furnish your crib. There is, of course, a lot of football memorabilia but there are also coke machines, popcorn machines, Plasma HDTV, working dart machine, working air hockey, motorcycle and tons more. It is highly addictive.

Sacrifice - A hybrid RTS/Action game based around 5 gods. Each has a focus on different types of units/spells: nature, earth, air, fire, death. You choose a god to follow for each mission and can change allegiance after each mission (up to a certain point, then you stay with one for the remainder of the game). There is one resource - souls of the units in the game. As you destroy enemy units, their souls appear and you can convert them to your side to increase your army. The game puts you right in the action as a wizard controlling your troops in third person. There is a ton of replayability in this game and as a bonus it works very well on lower end machines (with a 3d card of some kind).

Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast - I just started this one since it was staring at me from my collection. It seems ok so far but I have not gotten the force powers yet.

Feel the Magic XY/XX - I got it for $10 US when I got my DS. It is ... you just have to play it to believe it. Some of the stuff may either have you scratching your head or laughing out loud. It is just that strange. It does make use of most of the features of the DS, though. It reminds me of those old school Game and Watch games.

Splinter Cell - I started this one a couple years back and got stuck and quit. A couple weeks ago I decided to give it another try. The game is something else. Sam Fisher is really a bad@$$. I think Snake has met his match. There is nothing quite like sneaking up behind someone and grabbing them from the shadows. My only regret is that I got the PS2 version because I did not have my Xbox at the time when I bought the game. I hear the Xbox version has a kick @$$ intro.

Now playing Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Kreate a Fighter's pretty fun to toy around with, and, despite the fact that it's pretty short, Konquest is probably the best feature in the game.

Later on, maybe I'll finally give Street Fighter Alpha Anthology a whirl. I bought it a few days ago, but for some strange reason, I've yet to pick it up. Weird.

Gears of War is the Game of The Year, Best Game out in a LOOOOONNNGGGG time. The Videos that you see don't do the game justice. GameSpot give it a 9.5 out of 10. Shiv and I have played Co-op on Xbox Live and it runs as smooth as silk. The gameplay is ridiculous, very fun, very exciting and keeps you on your toes. The adrenaline is pumping throughout the entire game. Non-stop action. Definitely a MUST have for 360 owners.
