Sidekick 3 Limited to T-mobile?

Can someone search up and see if this is true, ive tried and got some indifferent answers. thanks in advance, hope to hear some good news.

Yes Sideick a T Mobile specific brand, however it is known to everyone else as the Hiptop, so you're looking for a Hiptop 3. If it is you cant find one branded hiptop, just get a sidekick and unlock it when u get it. Also, you can even flash the software to get rid of T Mobile's logo etc.

So it will work once i unlock my sidekick 3, and this can be done down here?

I know someone personally who unlocked her tmobile sidekick 2 while she was away, brought it down here, unlocked it and it worked fine. I'm not sure about the sidekick 3, but more than likely, it will work. Just go to any cell phone place (of which there are many) and they will do it for you.
