If you have another machine on your home network, then you can.
Your bandwidth will be totally wtfpwned. Consider your internet to be our own.
Don't expect to do any downloading, else you will make everyone lag and we will come to your house and beat you up.

what we need is for someone with a dormant connect to do the hosting. Either that or someone who won lotto and could afford to buy a dedicated connection just to host.
Both aren't very likely.
There are free servers out there though, if you look hard enough. Get a stable one and invite your friends on it if you can't afford the real deal. Just remember that it could go up in smoke at any time, taking your uber leveled up character with it.
