It depends on the emulator. I love my snes and N64 emus.

I have finished many of my emulated games simply because of the gameplay of those old games. It doesn't matter if it is on the old system or not and with my output card and my wingman controller i can treat my PC as a console. I even blow on the floppies for nostalgic reasons. LOL.

Man. And I thought my collection was big.
Then again, it's all original titles (excluding PC), so it's a lot of moolah to maintain.

I currently have, like about 50 PS2 titles (all original), 10 PS1 titles, formerly around 23 or so SNES cartridges (gave it away, some disappeared), 2 PSP titles (both Mega Man, yeah I know I suck for not having SFA Max as yet), around 15 GBA titles (most of them actually belong to my brother), 8 Nintendo DS titles (see for GBA games, only one is actually mine), several PC games (the only things NOT original, GASP), a buttload of emulator games for the SNES, Genesis, N64 and Arcade.

I've got roughly 200 PC games dated from about september 2004 to now, its growing steadily

You now start...Most fellas have double that.....including me who have PC games dating from 96 or before come up.
I think Baego dem have.....or HAD.....my XBOX collection....what was it? over 100 games?
Actually i topping that right now with my PS2 list.

....damn. Now I feel just plain inadequate.

Yeah, most of my titles are preserved as image files on my harddrive. CD's and DVD's scratch too easily.

Honestly come to think of it I think i have less than 5 original games and even those I 'backed up' and i don't use the original discs anymore.

Ok, ok. I personally doh like to deal in pirated/backup/non-originals, but to each his own. I know some men doh have de kind of money some others have. Anyway, because I used to live in Florida for a while, I have had all originals, not including roms, of course. This is de current breakdown:

PS 57
PS2 57
DC 36
Xbox 23
N64 19
GC 18
GBC 1
DS 3

This is all I have currently. Before, I had a good bit of PC games (about 50) that I gave away, stuff like Space Quest, King's Quest, old SSI games. Also, can't forget the good ol' SNES and another 50 or so games. Then there was the NES with about 20 games. And of course, the Atari 2600 with about 10 games. Handhelds: Game Boy Color with about 10 games, GBA with 10 games. I still have my original Tetris Game Boy game. I will never part with that one.

i loose my original gameboy in India customs
they have 6 security checkpoints before you leave the country, they thought it was a "questionable" electronic device...this was about 10 years ago. And they took it
