I agree, too, that is not the car, is the driver. Is them inexperienced blingers that put those ridicilous (sp) imitation flare kits on they cars and expect the 1.3 Lancer to become an Evo and then try to race like it a 2l turbo.
There was a guy trying to show off with a Hyundai that he put fat tires on, a big a$$ spoiler, and an intake thing on his hood. Tried to do donuts, totalled the car!
If u know how to handle the Civic it safe at speeds. The air must flow over the car, not under it. It will be quite stable at speed if this is proper. Raising the car or that bumper mod not approved will limit this!
