I dunno if this is the right place for this...but any of ayulla worried about this whole Neo-Nazzi thing? We are pretty much the smallest country there, we've made quite the lagre impact (Trinis seem to do that....) and our team consists mostly of Afro-Trinidadians...

I personally am kinda worried, i mean, not to the extent where I wouldnt want to go....i mean, hell I'd kill to be in germany just about now... But they may want to try and intimidate us....

no "we" loose because we play sh!T...not blight.....not the stupid@ss song we have, not the support...we play S H I T. .....ALL your arguments on this forum now null and void.

It's official. Shivadee has just won the freaking internet. AGAIN.

No, seriously. Do you really think T&T has a chance to win the World Cup?
Not with the games we've been playing, we don't.

One thing that gets my goat is people's reaction towards our loss against the Czech Republic.
Let me get this straight....."It's okay that we lost, those Czech Republic people are ranked like, second in the world." ??

Excuse me...but what the FART is this CRAP?
If we want to BELIEVE that we're going to win the World Cup, shouldn't we be BEATING the teams that stand a better chance than us in the finals, REGARDLESS of rank?
Saying that 'It's okay that we lost, those guys are good' is like saying 'We KNOW we suck, we're USED to that by now.' Geez. Rank or not, T&T should be putting on their game face in ANY match they play, regardless of what team they face.

Right now, several partners of mine are placing bets on T&T.
TO LOSE.

....so far, nobody's taken them up on their offer. Now, what does that say for our confidence in the team, hmm?

I mean, I'm all for supporting our boys and all, but let's be real.
T&T has me believing right now that they can't win a game if the opponents were a bunch of 75-year old nuns with lung cancer. Their performance as of late all kinds of stinks, and it was getting progressively worse with each warm-up.

So, you'll have to excuse the rant. T&T has potential, yes, but not CHAMPIONSHIP potential.

ah never see a bunch of blasted hard back wussies turn their backs on the Warriors jus cause they lost to Slovenia, Wales and the Czech Republic, I mean what the F*CK!? Its jus friggin friendlies not the actual f*cking tournament itself. Yea so we lost thme BIG FREAKING DEAL!! At least we know what we are facing on the 10th, 15th and 20th and with the losses it gives the Warriors more confidence to actually play their ultimate best and pull of the biggest upset since Senegal defeated France 4 years ago. They may not have the CHAMPIONSHIP potential but they gave their BLOOD, SWEAT AND FRIGGIN TEARS to get to Germany this year. Beenhakker brought us to the Big Stage now its time for him to show to the World that Trinidad and Tobago ARE NOT THERE FOR EVERYONE'S F*CKING AMUSEMENT!

If that aint no frakking morale booster for you punks how bout you hear it from the one person who levelled the Playoff against Bahrain last  year..........yea im talkin bout Birchall:

We've had some tough friendlies recently, but as the coach says, the results don't matter at the moment. The only game we got a beating in was the Czech Republic game, but they are one of the best teams in the world and they will make it to the latter stages of this year's competition. Our coach, Leo Beenhakker said he could have picked some easier games for us, but it would have been an enormous step-up for the games against Sweden, England and Paraguay.

Now that we have played the Czech's, we understand what it will take for us to play against that level of team, so the morale of the squad is very good, as in stages of the second half of the game we played some good football, even though we didn't create too many chances. The confidence is high, as it always will be with this set of footballers, reflecting the typical attitude of my teammates in general.

We took on the famous German Third division side St Pauli of Hamburg on Monday, the game was mainly for the players who haven't started in most of the warm-up games, and I was one of the current regulars who got a game. The atmosphere was amazing, none of us expected it, we'd heard a couple of days before that sixteen thousand tickets had been sold, it turned out twenty thousand were in the ground, it was an unbelievable party, there were probably more Trinidad flags that night then there are in the whole of the Islands! We can't believe how much support we are getting, I know most of the fans were locals, but they were supporting us as well as their own team and it was really nice.

PLEASE. After performing so freaking badly in freaking WARM-UPS, what guarantee do we HAVE that we'd even get past the next team?

Aaaahhhh no. Don't tell me "Well, it's just warm-ups, it's not the real matches."
Don't go making excuses for their bad performance. That's just showing sheer DENIAL. You see that quote from the Coach? That's him making a blasted excuse. If we ARE World Cup material, then WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO BEAT ANY TEAM, BECAUSE WE'RE BOUND TO FACE THEM SOONER OR LATER.

And the thing is, Trinidad has this history of disappointing us fans.
Remember Red Day 1990? And how much hype we pumped into that?
Only to lose to the USA in the next match?

Face it, partner. I'm not going to put you down or anything here, but Trinidad IS JUST NOT READY.
They are clearly not giving it their all, because I'm hearing from a lot of people that they are doing sheer STUPIDNESS OUT THERE. True, the 10th, 15th and the 20th is when it will all count, but, judging from how they played in practice, on what grounds do you even think they'd do well?

What....they would play s**t all this time to WOW us over with spectacular sportsmanship overnight?
FAH. And FAH AGAIN.

Partner, calm down. Acting like a rabid fanboy without looking at the facts isn't going to help anybody.

Now, you just said it yourself.
We have been playing for 16 years.
16 long years, and how many times have we made it -this- close to the World Cup in a major way?

2. That's it, 2.
Red Day 1990 and the present.
And after 16 years, what do we have to show for it?

Certainly not an impressive performance, that's for sure.
News flash. We LOST nearly ALL of the games in warm-ups.
Is that a sign that we'd lick them up in the real games?

The answer is NO.
And one would think, that after 16 years, the Soca Warriors would actually have improved on their game. Which can be said to be true, since we did qualify for the World Cup, but as of right now, we're falling flat on our face.

So, as far as I'm concerned, ranting 'THE SOCA WARRIORS ARE GOING TO OWN EVERYBODY, SCREW EVERYBODY WHO ENT TINK SO WEEEEEEEEEE' just doesn't make any sense right now. Wait until they play the games that matter, WIN, THEN rant like a rabid fanboy. Otherwise, just be realistic. The Soca Warriors need to improve, or risk getting KNOCKED THE FART OUT.

By the way, while I appreciate you sticking up for our home team, don't go all looney and double-post, please. Thanks.

Is all good that we make it in the World Cup, I fully appreciate what the Soca Warriors did, it increase we standard of football.....but we bearly scrape in with a Play-off....
Being realistic ...our chances of winning are veery very very slim, we may dish out a cuta$$ on sweden , we may get a bag ah licks from seeded teams, but everyone have to creep before they can walk upright with conviction and i supporting them while they creeping even if it takes another 16 years till we actually win the worldcup.....
