BAM

Dwight Yorke collect it in the stones.
Just.....OW.

Well, we're in a pretty bad position right now. Dwight's off the field, and England's playing pretty dang aggressive. We've also had a couple of VERY close calls, to boot, so T&T had better sharpen up their game.

EDIT: Cool. He's back on the field. Also gave England a scare just now, which is a pretty good sign. I just wish we wouldn't drop the ball so much, though.

It's halftime now, and I must say Trinidad is doing SERIOUS S**T out there.

1) 1 minute into the game, one of our players TRIPPED OVER THE FREAKING BALL.

2) Trinidad decided to play 'pass the ball' just like England, and it was working out so well....until they kicked it over to an England guy RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM.

3) England could have scored two goals on us easy, but they fudged it up. One of those goals were nearly made with FOUR of our guys surrounding Beckham. Just....WTF?

Tie or not, if Trinidad wants to succeed, they need to focus a bit more. We had too many close calls.
Bravo to when we nearly made that goal, but my hat's off to England to risking a yellow card to kick it out of the net before it made the goal. That was impressive.

Still, it's halftime, so it can go either way. England is clearly being stressed out, and the fans are also reflecting that stress. Let's hope Trinidad does better on the rebound, or we're definitely screwed, because, so far?

WE'VE BEEN FREAKING LUCKY.

England aient playing so hot. That freakishly thin english player iz a real mook throw away a nice goal, but say what, better for TNT. Hmmmmm TnT nearly score though is a good ting that defender was there goalie was MIA.

That's probably why their coach is worrying himself bald......er.

Actually, to hazard a guess, I'd say England was doing S**T too.
Those last two plays were the freaking EASIEST THROW-AWAY goals I have ever seen, and what do they do?
They punt the ball over the goal.

Man, I'd be cussing the team in stereo if I was their coach. Except for the guy who risked a yellow card to make that save. I'd send him outside on a Gatorade break, or something.

Coach was looking mad rather than worried. He's probably choking crouch/crauch/crotch to death right about now. No doubt he'll be subbed in the next half. BTW....I find that after a whack in the balls from that bullet, yorke recovered quite fast. is it just me who finds this amazing? Had that happened to me, ill still be on the ground.

England 2
Trinidad 0

...sorry, guys. Hate to say I told you so, but....I told you so. The minute England scored that 1st goal, we started to play freaking loose. And, I must say, while Trinidad did well by keeping the deadlock up so far, it all fell apart when that first goal was scored. Serious squiggling there.

Better luck next time, guys.

No surprise. TnT didnt attack at all. If they did, there would have been a better chance. England kept attacking and eventually got through.
