AMD price cuts Galore

 A64s are set to retail @ 80-90 Us for single core versions , and the dual cores as cheap as 150 in order to combat conroe , note the price change won't come into effect till AFTER te conroe release date ( july 20 something) ..
   Back to the days of good old amd prices... when you can pick up an athlon XP for 80 US  and overclock it till it pwnz all but the most expensive pentium 4s.....

  This is good as now the single core A64s will be against the Celerons , and the dual core 3800 against Non conroe processors of the same pricing..

Conroe releases on July 23...AMD price cuts happen on July 24...the very next day.

AMD Athlon 64 price cuts will receive price cut up to 30%
AMD Athlon 64 X2 will receive price cuts up to 50%
AMD Sempron processors will receive price cuts up to 15%

I guess we all wait with baited breath from July 24th. I was wondering exactly when the prices would come into effect, although we are ALREADY seeing price cuts in the single core cpus, with 3500+ going for 120USD. I was getting a bit impatient to see these drops in light of the announcement of the drops at least now I know when it'll actually occur.
