i just like the DS cuz it got my favourites like Metroid and Zelda then again....psp got GTA:LCS,Metal Gear Ac!d and some reborn, old school Megaman...but DS is bringin out Megaman ZX so.........i cant decide!!!! argh!!!!! bloody console wars!!!!!

In my opinion Metal Gear Acid is a disgrace to the series metal gear is one of my favorite games but turnin it in to a strategy/card game is stupid psp should burn for that.
Oh and about the price of Ps3 i Hate Xbox and i would pay the high price of the Ps3 even though it may bankrupt me mainly cuz of my favorite titles being on it such as metal gear and Final fantasy

As soon as smash brothers, zelda, f-zero, and pokemon come into the stream, PSP go even have a harder time. Nintendo owns the handheld market but kinda sucks to the console market. I really hoping Wii changes that, because the price is really making me look that way. Wii is less than half the price of the PS3! The PS3 is too damn expensive and most of the Xbox 360 games (at least the real good ones) also on the PC (minus the few console only titles) so it eh make no sence getting that either.

i have to agree that acid is a disappointment. it really has no relavence to the mgs series, it's just there to be a card game with the mgs name and traits. but hopefully when the new mgs portable ops is released it'll bring back some life in the psp's gaming. looks and plays basically like the ps2 version (or so the previews say)

Ohh come on dont basho out the PSP that fast. Just remember without competition, we wont be getting such high quality games and systems. One day PSP will have some great titles to speak of but until then the DS shines in the gaming department.

Im not bashing the PSP in that last post. Like many people I dont see any games for it yet to warrant me buying that system for its price and accessories. If i could i would put down 2 bill US for the system and then another 3 bill for the largest mem stick available now...i think 8GB. Its ideal for me since im traveling all over the place, being in the US i can get wifi all over the place where need be. But...500 US for a system that has no appealing games as yet, and i still havent bought any games. Ill pass.

Shiv, LEISURE SUIT LARRY "COCOA BUTTER" coming out in Sept., Tekken: Dark Resurrection coming out in July, SOCOM Fire Team Bravo 2, Bloodrayne all coming for the PSP, come nah man....Not to mention Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII, and then for the GTA fans, GTA: Vice City Stories coming in october.

Tekken - yes.....decent game. Played it at E3, but i dont know the details about tekken..so i cant say if its better or worse or what
SOCOM - oh GEEED....played the new SOCOM at E3.....how the h3ll alyuh PS2 men could play a game with so much pixels? I cant even see to snipe...and it wasnt me alone saying that
Final Fantasy......NOW yuh talking...but i waiting to see first. I wasnt impressed with Dirge at E3, didnt like the controls...of course that could change
GTA - after GTA3 i got fedup of GTA
MGS - always a good buy. Looking forward to this one. Kojima is a genius.

Its good to see the PSP stepping up a little with its quality of games. Lets hope it continues. Still not enough to warrant a buy for me though. but they commin to come

the lite has more than just looks. It's more comfortable when using metroid prime hunters thanks to the lower weight, it's easier to pocket by far now, and the screen is AMAZING. I dumped my "old" ds for the new dslite (I <3 trade-in). The screen is BEAUTIFUL. In sunlight where i'd not even bother playing the ds, i can do so easily. It also feels bigger looking at it (i encoded lord of the rings return of the king) i guess because the screen is the same size, but the rest of the unit is smaller. Purchased the new play yan micro for it too so i'll give it a lil going over once i get it.

Looks so matter to sales apparently - 136k units sold in first 2 days - SICK!

BTW - anyone try playing sound in surround mode on the DS lite with the new super mario bros? It's really nice for those speakers.

The psp has a lot going for it though. I'd like it smaller. Other than that I dont support sony, but the unit itself is far from bad. Remember it's difficult to judge the psp against the ds solely on games out atm - a lot of people have old game boy advance games, and just used the ds as a nice stepping stone. If there were a backlog of pre-psp sony based games to be supported, psp may have sold better.

Thats true, at the time of launch for both these systems there were not any good games for the 2 systmes. What made me choose the DS over the PSP was the fact that it played GBA games and I had a lot already, plus I had a bad condition GBA not SP just GBA meaning no BACKLIGHT!!! So it was a good choice for me to make since I would already have games. I am so happy with my decision!

BTW anyone wants a PSP selling at 1700 near mint condition coming with everything and I think he including GTA with the deal. My friend is selling it since he said he is not using it. PM me if your interested.
