i think DS has better gameplay than psp too just less grafics but with games like metroid,New super mario brothers and zelda phantom hourglass grafix aint no prob

i got a psp, but to tell the truth the last new game i got for it was Socom. and that was a while ago.  right now i use it as an mp3/movie player, and save my documents on it.  hopeully when MGPO and the new final fantasy hits it it'll rise but for now i guess stricly for gamin the ds is better.

I liek the psp for the way it looks.....it has some really cool features too...

Why was the ngage even put there.............its no competition.....i wudnt be surprised if people say the gameboy was better than it

Well not entirely i have an NGAGE n it has sega / supernes / nes  emulators on it n has support for bluetooth multiplayer so as far as im concerned all but the psp just got pwned!!!

that's like comparing apples to Channa......The graphics on the NGage suck. The games you talking about are run with emulators which means they are old games, not the new more interesting games available on the DS or the PSP, I have both the PSP and DS and each has it's strengths. The NGage on the other hand is a failed attempt at multitasking cellphone with gaming.

By far, in fact I think the SP should have been included. In terms of portability , form factor, gameplay, game library and design  the GBA SP is hands down the greatest Handheld ever created.

I really, really want to say the PSP, but really outstanding, unique titles are really RARE on that system.
I'll have to say the DS right now. PSP is awesome, but it's on very shaky ground if it can't come up with something really revolutionary.

dont get me wrong the SP is good but in terms of games DS can play GBA games anyway and in terms of portability the GBA micro takes the cake so i dont think it should be mentioned

 True @ apples to channa , the DS is aimed at the lower end market that Nintendo already has , the PSP and Ngage are higher end multi function devices...   
   The ngage is also alot older... If nokia released a new version it might be able to compete with the PSP..


 You can run emulators on the DS/gameboy too wit  a flash cartridge

Well there are PSP emulators that run NES, SNES, Genesis, TurboGrafx games anyway, so ngage has no place here. DS, PSP are the only ones that should be compared. But each has its strengths as I said before. So there is no point comparing.

when we dont compare its boring cant enjoy bad talking Ngage and thrashin PSP for its nice grafix but terrible games and big up how mad the DS is

hmm...  i remember reading that the Gameboy Advance was fully developed and ready for mass production a year or more before they actually released, but Nintendo held back on it, because they couldnt offer it at a price that they thought the market would accept

i think the key to their success ( besides the innovative design of the DS and the HUGE stable of games for the GBA) has been their foresight with pricing..

the psp tryin too hard to be everything.. a ipod killer , a portable dvd player killer and a gameboy killer...
and succeedin at none..  PSP movies buss, and there is no 'must-have' title for the psp.. heck, for a platform that supposed to be mature by now,new games have slowed to a trickle, not so?

on top of that, the memory stick is expensive ( unless yuh have a sony camera.. you eh go really have memory stick lyin round.. and is the Duo , to boot), the UMD is proprietary and there aren't any UMD-RWs to put yuh music and other content on .. so yuh hadda go back to the memory stick duo


does not negate the fact that it is damn sexy, but DS is cuttin its tail..


i wouldnt say DS aimed at a lower end market; i'd say DS is aimed at a gaming market.. whereas Sony spread the PSP thin aiming at three different matkets , and was hoping that people would ignore its initial high price

 PS3 might be  similar , the sheer cost would bankrupt anyone short of Sony and Microsoft , sure it will be the fastest console on the market.. but will anyone want it for that price?  Pushing HD content down people's throughts isn't going to work without attractive pricing and games... Only a fraction of people own an HDTV...   Hopefully the PS3 will be compatible with PC monitors ( DVI/VGA) for high rez gaming on the cheap...

as we were sayin in another thread, the manufacturers not clamourin for replacement to dvd yet; there is no pressing need for us to migrate to Blu ray..  what you will be doin by buyin a ps3 basically is helpin sony get a installed base of blu ray players for their movie studio

but ps3 still will be successful in japan, if only for the fact that the japs NOT on xbox360.. lol ( read another article that the xbox titles not really geared for their market, so is not  a matter of xenophobia.. is just there is no appeal, and the developers not touching it with a ten foot Wiimote,  a catch-22 situation)

in the states, apart from the most rabid fanbois, i doh think it gonna do that well, barring a price drop to bring it in range with the 360, cuz people ALREADY gonna have a wii as a second console,  and it lookin like THAS the console that gonna have the exclusives ( by virtue of the wiimote)
