XP updates are free.

Talking about filesharing is OK, I guess; asking for pirated and non-free proprietary stuff is not.

Provided you have a legit copy, just ask around and see if a friend has it or something. If you're talking about an illegitimate copy, sorry can't help you. Now, if you have unlimited or enough online hours, leaving your system on overnight would give time to download the 150mb.

Santa_Clause, yes, that is considered spam and I don't want to see a repeat of it. If you have to wonder if your post is spam, then it probably is. In any case, saying that XP is nonsense is quite off topic considering this is a thread about acquiring the updates.
Have you ever wished things just were?

If you want to purchase the updates you can from Microsoft Caribbean.  There is a minimal administrative cost to provide the updates on CD.  You can contact Ms. Yasmin Gobin at 632-8488.
Hope that helps.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this.  And the thread is Win XP after all.
Has anyone tried connecting two Win XP machines via crossover cable (Ethernet). i.e. without using a hub.  I'm having some probs with that.  Any help would be appreciated.
All the hardware (inc. cable are in working order).
