Question for the Flow unlimited users:  Is the modem always online?  Or must you 'login' first on a Flow login page before you can
access the net?

it's always online. no login required.

I heard that your ip doesnt change even when you reboot the router and that you have to wait a few weeks since plow resets your IP every few weeks. True?

yup. i've had FLOW for almost 3 months now and the ip address only change once.

hmmm that wud mainly sucks for me when i need to dload stuff from rapidshare without the pressure of waiting...i cud jus reset the modem by me n dload a nex file one time lol...

sucks for private torrent sites too. if ur IP ever gets banned, it'll be a long wait till u can signup again.

Actually you can request a dynamic IP if you do not want it static. And well the login page is only for the hourly packages tho I suspect they will do away with the hourly packages eventually and lower their unlimited prices to compete with tstt's soon to be launched dsl packages..

Lol well the sad thing is my tstt dsl used to drop all the time and much worse too so I cannot complain. getting my rated 4 mbit speeds right thru tho, hope it stays like that.

heard that they use individual nodes per cluster to deliver uniform speed to their customs

so in other words, no bw sharing thanks to the individual nodes.
