Dread could we doh even have digital cable yet (which is not necessarily a bad thing seeing as the newer packages require extra money for 'premier movie channels') so FAR less for internet. Flow has a while before it reach us who are not east or north of grand bazaar. Either way I just want better bandwidth at a better price DAMNIT!

How can you guys pay so much for your Internet connections and get such slow speeds? There must be atleast one ISP in your country that offers you true broadband speed at a reasonable price, right?

I wish I could get mine up to or pass 200 MBPS

Sorry, but we're talking about an ISP in Trinidad, not necessary to compare it to yours in USA, we know we don't have fast internet like you

ATM there isn't an ISP that has the sensible capabilities to offer as such as the infrastructure is still being installed. As an aside, don't trust that bandwidth test, its all screwed up. The one formally in your sig is prolly a better indicator. Or better yet select Curacao as the end point in the bandwidth test and see you connection to there as it's the closest hop to T&T.

Yeah I figured it was messed up, I thought giving insane readings was it's own unique way of saying whether your connection was fast or slow. lol Also, is there anyone on this forum with T1?

There are, but not usually to the home. At offices there are T1 DSL or Leased circuit connections. I myself have access to 2M Vsat connections at the office but normal DSL 256kbps is the norm. Although FLOW appears to be offering 4Mbps now... we can only hope TSTT will at least upgrade its 256kbps base to 1Mbps....
