Can someone comment how flow works with BF2/2142 since that is the only game I play online wanted to know if it runs well with FLOW.  I read the other post about not being able to connect it to more than one pc at a time but really dont care all I want it for is the speed most likely will get the 1mbit connection.

Can you describe, technically, how your particular network is set up?

I'm interested in how the unlimited account is implemented.

well they simply run a cable line from the digital decoder box outside (if your area hasn't been switched to digital, u can't get internet) to the modem they give u (http://www.arrisi.com/product_catalog/listers/index.asp?id=385), which cost $460 ($690 if u don't have cable). from there, the modem can be connected through your ethernet or USB port. as for BF2. i haven't tried it yet, only halo. but it should work fine. halo run just about perfectly (with 16 players online!!!)

that part about 460 and 690

the monthly service is 460 if yu have cable already? or is that the installation fee?

if its 460 monthly fee if yu have cable already, for a 1 meg? yeah, i think ill make that switch

the monthly fee for the 1meg connection is $690 whether u have cable or not. $490 is the cost of the modem if u have cable but $690 if u don't. istallation is free for a limited time, some promo they're pushin. but when the promo is done, installation will cost $150 ($158.70 if u don't have cable).

Check out this diagram of Flow's connection to the main regional 'ARCOS' network.  Scheduled to go live in October 2007.
All current Flow broadband packages will be DOUBLED FREE OF CHARGE!!!

I wonder if their 'stellar' customer service will improve as well?

Yes, I share that sentiment wholeheartedly.  Come October, we shall have true broadband in TnT at last.
Now, If only I could find my original DSL contract...

I already hinted at TSTT's planned upgrade later this month in another thread.
