This may seriously interest current and potential Flow subscribers...I have a friend who is a Project Coordinator with Flow, and he messaged me on MSN today with this:
Quote
we just upgrade all customers using Flow 2mb unlimited package to 6Mb Effective Sept 1st
Look like T&T finally lookin to go places oui :)

heard that they use individual nodes per cluster to deliver uniform speed to their customs

so in other words, no bw sharing thanks to the individual nodes.

For all us n00bs.. ( ie me) A node will be where the optic fibre comes in and is hooked up to the coax copper?

So each cluster is.. A neighbourhood? An area?

I can guarantee you...it will be a cold day in hell when TSTT just magically upgrades bandwidth in the middle of the night before making a big horse (dog?) and pony show about it first.

dred i serious tstt better bring it and bring it now. I looking foward to this for about 3 of the 5 years i had dsl.

At least by sept 1st

so unknown u suggest that i just head off to bed and forget about this. Remember tstt upgraded dsl from 128 to 256 without prior advertising.

we just hope that they do it again and in the morning papers have the announcement.

Its only 45 mins away so i'll just wait and see

me and a couple other people have been experiencing disconnects from the exchange... Might be TSTTs usual bad service , or upgrades in progress.

 No improved bandwidth yet.

My internet running smooth right now.

Good night all
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Just hopped over to the tsttproblems forum and it says that they said it will be reading in about a month.

And i was getting all exited over nothing.

Well then now i say to all

and me here still fighting up with my 'pathetic' 256K from Total S***ongs of T & T

I'd be happy with even just a 1Mbps connection, y'know... WTF taking TSTT so long? (and my contract expires in April 2008!)
God is dead.
