I remember Little Nemo.. i loved that game! Frog, Beaver... so many things you could combine with.

Anyone had Destiny Of An Emperor for NES? The beginning of Dynasty Warriors where Guan Yu andn Zhang Fe was introduced with their corageous leader Li Bu ! That was a real bad RPG.... i never had Final Fantasy for my NES

Anyone ever played Contra Force? Sure it has the Contra name, but had nothing to do with the other Contra games like Super C and stuff.. this game was in a class by itself, completely seperate from the series. You could choose from 4 people Beans, Burns etc. and the weapons were interesting. Fun 2 player action

Contra Force was so lame. You had a health bar with one life and it was anti terrorism top down shooting. I was so dissapointed in that game when it came out

Fe real... i real leave out Double Dragon 2. Me & My bro LOVED to play this. All about fighting the 'REAL' shadow master with what we labelled as his patented 'Donkey Kick'. The really weird kick he does where he drains like 2 blocks of energy from u

Ay, what about Adventure Island....Remember the hypnotic upbeat music that goes with the shuffle foot fat kid, throwing fireballs and skating around with his skateboard (Tony Hawk have nothing on the original Skateboard kid)  ^_^, and what about Skate or Die, men used to be sweating that and Paperboy. Boy, trips down memory lane.......

Death Wind was a pain, the friggin Knights League last stage was another one, with 180 degree turns and crap. I raced with Samurai Goro's pink ride. It was slow on the upstart but when it open up if FRIGGIN faster than anything there.
Yea they have a new FZERO for Gamecube, it real good, it REAL hard......it TOO fast.....crazy fast.

Yes. Quite a few modern versions, actually.
The original SNES port was the best, though (I can't handle all that speed, especially in the GC version....too flipping FAST!)

I agree....Samurai Goro's Fire Stingray was the best car in the game.
I used to race with the Golden Fox, but that thing gets blown up like it's made of freaking GLASS.

Yep the Doc's ride was designed for pro level gamers really. It had mad acceleration, but little armour or top speed. That ride mostly for when you could real get orn on corners. Pico's ride is for n00bs who cant dodge gravity mines, and Falcon, i feel is like a kiddie ride for them lil children (like we were when we were young) to say "YEAAAA....FALCON is a BAD@SSS" - His ride only so so.

I tried playing it the other day....lawd, framerate drop like woah LOL. i cant play that game anymore.

You know what?

I think Golden Fox is the very reason why Death Wind was such a pain in the byootox for me.
Every time I rode that vehicle on that track and tried to make a turn or overtake, the freaking wind would blow the car STRAIGHT into the barrier. Yeesh.

Now, moldy oldy time.
Anybody remember the Collecovision? Or any of those 'vintage' systems like the Atari 2600?
I had Donkey Kong for that (CV) when I was 6, and my uncle had an Atari 2600 at one time.
Fun times. Fun times.

Hmm ... back in the day. I will tell you about back in the day. I remember I was 5 or 6 when my dad came back from a business trip in the states with an Atari 2600. He bought 2 games plus it came with a pack-in game: Combat. You must remember that one. The first deathmatch. The other 2 games were classics: Donkey Kong and Asteroids. Well, at 5 years old I could not manage more than 3 or so stages in Donkey Kong without dying and I kinda gave up on it. But Asteroids ... That is where I made my name. I remember playing that game for something like 2 hours straight without losing. I considering getting an Atari Flashback just to have the system and controller again but with modern connections. Yeah, later on came other games. Pac-Man was a messed up version of the arcade, but say what, is Pac-Man. Joust was a classic. I could play that one for hours. I had this one called SwordQuest that was a kind of adventure game. It came with a comic book but it was real hard. Vanguard was a crazy shooter I had. Space Jockey was another shooter and then there was Word Zapper. I sure almost nobody else play that one. It was a kinda educational ting where you had to shoot words and enemies. Then there was the Empire Strikes Back game with the snow speeder. Talk about hard. I get semi-good at it but that game was crazy hard. The Tron game was cool too with the discs. Defender ... that was a challenge but real maddd. Pickin up people and takin them to the city. Sometimes you had to drop a guy, go shoot some aliens and come back and pick up the guy before he hit the ground. I had a NES but I was very late getting it. I got mine long after Genesis had come out so I didn't get the full experience like most of you guys here had. But, I cut my teeth on my 2600.

Yuh gettin on like i dunno. You and I around the same age then :)
Which Swordquest you had? I had Fire World, my friend had Earth World. WaterWorld is nearly impossible to get. Airworld was never finished or released.
Word Zapper? I had that. The lil fly thing ship with wings. Black and Blue screen.....alphabet and symbols fly accross the top of the screen and you spelll words in a time limit. Some enemies would push you around the screen so you miss the letters.
Empire Strikes Back never finished really. You just fight Walkers till the time was up or you die. You can land on the ground and repair your ship twice i think.
I could teeth more than you on 2600. I had over 60 games for my Atari. Including what you call.
Also some other stuff to check out
Blueprint
River Raid
Adventure
Venture
Berserk
International Soccer
Atlantis
Canyon Bomber
Spiderman
Superman (the only good superman game, the arcade one is okay too)
Space Invaders
Frogger
Missile Command
Activision Boxing
Tomcat
Tunnel Runner
Pitfall and Pitfall 2
Breakout
Indy 500
Haunted House

list goes on forever dread
