Yo do u need a credit card for X-Bosx live or can a bank card do

Aight due to my last thread it has become clear that if im gonna have a 360 im gonna need xbox live. Besides not havein a broadband connection which ill be fixing soon, i dont have a credit card. i have a bank card. can i use it or am i stuff offline.

From my understanding, basic xbox live services will be free with any Xbox 360 purchase.

You will only need a credit card to pay for the premium (gold) services.

yea i kinda no that already. my problem is the lack of credit card 4 the gold. Cause come on if im gonna have Live i might as well play games online so ill need the gold. the question remains...credit card only or can a bank card do the trick.

PS I NOT gettin a credit card anytime in the near or semi near furture.

if it's a Visa or Mastercard affiliated bank card, then it'll work. Otherwise hard luck.

Well in that case you can buy a 12 month subscription card from a shop as opposed to going the credit card route.

You need the credit card when activating the account. It is a requirement that when you sign up, even when you buy the 12 month sub card. That's Microsoft's way of getting you to commit to paying for Live for the rest of your life..MUHAHAHAHA
