Dread I hope Trini doh realize dis... we all know how REAL office down here suffering from OS (not Operating system mind you, more like Old Sh1t) Computers:

 GIVING employees old computers damages company morale and makes them likely to claim sick leave.
According to a poll conducted by Tickbox.net, workplace dissatisfaction increased at the same rate of the age of the box in front of them.

British and French workers named working on outdated computers was the most irritating aspect of office life, next to jumped up little dictators being in charge of them.

It is apparently a bit problem with more than 40 per cent of the workers using computers at least three years old.

Workers dealing with outdated equipment were 35 percent more likely to take six or more sick leave days a year compared with the average worker, the survey claimed. In France, where there was much more older gear, workers were 55 percent more likely to feel a bit under the weather.

Two-thirds of those polled also complained of problems like eye fatigue, headaches, and repetitive strain injury (RSI).

Interestingly enough it seemed that women were more likely to be given outdated gear. In the UK, were workers have up-to-date computers than in the other countries surveyed, the number of women using old equipment was double that of men.

I can attest to this.  Where I work, if I have to replace/ install a PC that is old, I always get the comment 'Oh jeez, more old ting again'.  Many staffers are not currently happy doing their jobs because their current machine in many cases is over 7 years old.

What can I do? The company does not spend money in a timely fashion when it comes to upgrading equipment.  Why spend tha money every 2 years when you can run the current one into the ground for 5 years or more? 
I mean, we still have old 586 PCs running Windows 3.1.  I'm sure there are many on this forum who have never SEEN Windows 3.1, let alone have to labour with it every day.
