Well, the day has finally come, E3 is looking promising. Check out the trailer for Halo 3 on Xbox.com, Mr. Gates has unveiled Halo 3 as I knew he would, trump card played just in time for Sony's invisible PS3. The hype on this game will outshadow Halo 2 by far. Run out and get your 360's fellas, Halo 3 multiplayer on Live will be insane!

   Trailer is available on torrents , trailer itself isn't impressive ( game probably still in alpha, trailer looks scripted to hell ) but the graphics are ..
    my opinion of  halo as the most overrated game of all time doesn't stop me from admiring graphics..

  Doesn't take much to overshadow halo 2..... single player  was bawls, worse than halo 1, ... what saved it was single player co-op and the great multi  ...   But thanks to MS  propoganda it was instantly a best seller.. Enter the matrix anyone?

Impressive...my wallet real itchin now...especially since the last couple weeks there's been a Halo 2 torunament goin on between the various DeVry campuses...so I in the right mindset for it.

Seeing as GATT HQ is the current Slayer Cup champions, this is pretty salivating stuff.

Though I must agree with Trini, the trailer did not impress me much.

It's a teaser though, so I won't judge it by the "trailer" yard stick.

The game is going to be a "must have" title for the console and we all know it. Betting against Halo is like betting against Brazil in the world cup.

Wait Cortana infected with a Virus??? ok... before anyone continues... I like halo about as much as the other avid gamer... but i'd like to RE-iterate my point that Halo is a remake of an OLD Bugie classic Marathon (if meh Apple Performa 610 WAS STILL ALIVE EH I'd bring it to HQ and let yuh see how CLOSE it is but YEARS APART). In the ORIGINAL (not even the sequels) to Marathon, the AI in the game becomes corrupted (Durandal) goes RAMPANT and eventually spreads to the alien mothership that attacked the station in the first place (virus anyone??) Maybe I should spell out the storyline in those old games to see how it pans out with halo. I see Halo as Bungie TOTALLY lacking new ideas, that's not to say it ain't a GREAT game, it just means they ain't all they cracked up to be. You rem Marathon Masterchief??? rem how I used to say look how the FPS on Apple was WAY ahead of the PC (doom at the time). These characters in the game were actually KNOWN AS HUNTERS.
However there is another char in the game (marathon) called he HULK, which was a slower moving LARGE BLUE/GREY enemy. Can you spell CROSSBREED???

Interesting... has a visor too.. (btw in the orignal Marathon, your colour was black and green 0_o and you had a visor and started off after the crash of ur ship back onboard the spacestation and all you had was a pistol. If ONLY I could find pics of all the chars you'd see how the colour scheme, the story, the weapons as SOO alike.

 i played the marathon demo for pc a loooong time ago, so its available.... i didn't realise  halo copied SO much from marathon....
  Don't forget marathon had vehicles  too...

It's been guessed that the trailer is in-game screens since someone found that a shadow somewhere clipps a litle bit somewhere. I didn't see it, the trailer looks awesome. As usual my favorite part of Halo, is the music, as crazy as that sounds. At least that certainly delivers here.

Much more memorable than the quake and doom themes. Even the Half Life themes.

Hmm... I smell a challenge, hey Baego there ins't a way you could use Hamaichi to create  a VPN with chief, shiv and kaizen and link to the GL for a sweat? it would take a lil doing but I SURE it could be done...what yuh think?

SpecialK tried it and it worked. Have not gotten around to testing it myself though.
