Looking for a Nokia 1600 data cable...

I have been all over town looking for a data cable for this thing. The phones practically throwing away all over the place but NOT ONE soul seem to have the cable. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

On closer investigation on the net, I cannot even find any reference to a data cable anywhere, not even on Nokia's website. Anyone know of any alternative that may work?

Actually I got it free so there was no choice in the matter. I've heard that phones like the razr uses a similar cable, its a mini usb connection.

^^^ my guess is thats the only thing that could connect that phone to a pc, the  port is sometimes mistaken as a mini usb, if is is a mini usb u souldn't have to be asking that since mini usbs are all about the place.

thats suppose to be used to flash the phone to update firmware and shit but there is a way to get stuff on the phone with, i looked at my cousin's phone and found a "bmobile" picture on it so i'm sure there's a way.

the shit is, with the knowledge i have with firmware and shit, most likely tstt got the picture there by "editing" a firmware and putting the pic with it so that when the flash completes the pic is on the phone just as the other pics originally put by nokia are.

a big hastle and most likey u'll only get one by buying it from overseas, then there's the whole software and flash files and stuff u'll have to get too, risk the chance of killing your phone completely etc.


the 3220 data cable isn't hard to find, since i don't have one i'm not going to call stores like someone who wants one should be doing, then there's always the alternative of buying it online

Hey man, thanks for taking the time to investigate and reply. Chakura for u!!! It's not really THAT important for me to connect the phone to the PC to go and import a cable. It isnt worth the trouble.

Hey I think I found a site that has the cable for the nokia 1600..Yes I have this phone too and I did get it free...so I'm going to make the best of it..but for sure I'm not buying it online. The site is this:

OK i saw it. Yip indeed it does say cable for 6030 and 1600 in the description, but on the cardboard backing itself it jjust says 6030 series. Also, that connector looks really big!! Our phone just has a tiny connector so i dont know. Do you think that even though it so big , it has the right connector on there somewhere?

I feel so too dred. Hoss, i hadda thank yuh for helping, but i think i give up on dat for now. I dont know why they make the phone with a port to connect to other devices or a computer why they dont send the phone with a cable and done or for the very least have the thing on sale. NOOO mention on nokia site about a cable for it. Oh well........
