When WoW turns ugly....

I'm not a big WoW player myself, but I found this very...interesting, to say the very least. Take a look at the links here:

According to this, a very popular WoW player passes away, so, his friends think it would be a nice gesture to log on to his account, take his character to a serene setting, and hold a memorial service for him. They invited a lot of people to the service on the message boards. Unfortunately, some people thought ti would be a great idea to actually RAID the funeral, and so, several WoW players ambushed the funeral, killed the dead player's character, and totally slaughtered the mourners, all the while capturing it on tape.

Just...wow. One minute, it's 'We are here today to remember our friend and brother....' and the next, it's 'FOR THE HORDE!!!!11one'

Some people can be such jerks.....


In other news, a bug causes a plague upon WoW players. According to the same article, it caused all players below a certain level to get instantly wiped out.
