More bent technology headed our way

Bend me, shake me, anyway you want me. Again

HARD ON the heels of a flexible TFT screen comes another bendy invention, but this time it's bent memory.
See Bendy e-paper uses TFT technology.

According to today's Nihon Keizai Shimbhun, Seiko Epson has created ferroelectric RAM (FeRAM) which can be fabricated on a slender plastic sheet.

It's done that by putting fluorine polymer and organic semiconductors on a sheet that's only .1 of a millimetre thick although products aren't expected to be available for a few years yet.

I was thinking more having a subscription to a newspaper and having a single flexible sheet that's touch sensative and getting the news directly to the screen to read with your morning coffee. Kinda new version of an old concept. Helluva lot easier to use, manuever and look at than a little 2" screen.
