That is 2 beast system yuh have dey. You need not upgrade at all for at least 2 years (unless yuh REALLY want to)
That is the kinda hardware we all would like to aspire to. I mean tha FX-60 by itself is almost a THOUSAND US.
I think yuh get yuh money's worth.

It takes atleast a month ro properly research a pc, get feedbacl read reviews ect ect. Also some of thos parts i see u got their arenmt exactly up to par

thanx bushman, thas the kinda feed back i was lookin for
but still the cost factor doesn't seem to bad as a system close to this on newegg (almost same specs) costs about $3000us
as i said, bought it from my bro, got free shipping i might add, well not free, he paid for it, but i guess that is free for me, or was it in the cost? ok forget the shipping thing

UWI have a wireless network? Which part? I use my laptop there constantly (up by the bank side) and never detected it.
Bushman, kindly explain which parts "not up to par" and why are they so. I have done a lot of research on those very parts, and the only strike I have seen is against the chipset fan on the Asus motherboard, which some have said is very loud, and in some cases, fail after a time.

SLI WASTE OF MONEY
RAM BAD TIMINGS NOT VEYR GOOD OC
PROCESSOR IS WASTE OF MONEY
A OPTERON 165 COST 350 USD AND CAN OC TO 2.8 2.9 ON AIR COOLING DEPENDS ON THE STEPPINGS
this is where research comes in
mouse not a gaming mouse

^^^^^^ Well, the only thing that fits your 'not up to par argument' is the RAM. Everything else you stated has to do with COST (or 'bang for buck' as some might say).
I'll disregard the 'mouse not a gaming mouse' comment as straight hatin. If not that one, then which one, and why (from a technical standpoint)?
Enquiring minds want to know.

That is a bit of a monster there indeed man. Doh worry about bush too much, he's somewhat right with the choice of CPU and RAM, but all in all your rig is more than gaming worthy and there's no point in crying over spent money now. The FX-50 is too pricey and the 165 as bush pointed out would have been a better deal, however I will say that OCing the 165 on AIR to 2.6GHz is possible but not altogether wise depending on the temp of the room in which you have the machine. As for RAM, because of the on-die memory controller, lower latencies do come into play, but at the same time at 1GB sticks timing is still iffy and very few manus have managed 2-2-2-5-1T timings and thats a recent development. Your rig is damn powerful and whilst you could have saved money here and there, or gotten better parts for the same price, you rig is more powerful than most ppl here and definitely more than Bush. So happy gaming.

1 x1900xt would have been a better buy
mouse are u familiar with the term DPI
Opteron chips are the cream of the crop chips, they are better quality chips than the 1 used for the fx60 in some cases and oc to 2.9 easily. Note this depends on the steppings of the chip. 100% of the chips will dop 2.7 on air, while maby another 40% will do 2.9 and like 2% will do 3ghz on air. If u have phase change that will go even higher. so for the money your spending u coulda bought a 165 and a phase change unit and hit 3ghz and above and have a blazing fast chip + a phase change unit so u can oc any future chips great long term investment
