YESS when this realaease I m gonnapic up this one, no doubt it will be nice, ah dun like it already, But it being based on a" heavily modified" Doom 3 engine, does that mean that it might not tax as much as Doom 3?

We can only hope Xeno, we can only hope. Possibly it will just like Q4 was a smoother running game than Doom3 but both built on the sam engine. We can only hope that the developers optimize code to make the game run faster and smoother on EXISTING hardware. However its also possible that they won't since they have the benefit of newer hardware and such can afford to say ah well. (sorry just spilling out from the other post)

Oh yeah thats true, them is Nvidia baby, haha, ah think i thought of that cause of the gaming location that i go to, and is only ATI cards ah see Doom3 and Quake 4 run on, but stilll i yet to see a good Nvidia card run some of the latest games, the most i evah see was FX 5200 and thats it so some throw me a bone, or gimme some chakra.

Well to be honest Kaizen when I did meh first upgrade (the part 1 of 2 in 1 year) I went from a 2100+ AXP KT400 to a Barton 2600+ with nforce 2 and 9800Pro. Didn't you know that when Doom 3 was first demoed, well at least the first encarnations of the game whilst in development, CARMACK HIMSELF said that the 9700 (at the time) was the ONLY hardware capable of running it? the 9700Pro was the defacto standard card to run Doom 3. Later on Nvidia payed oodles of money to get the whole TWIMTBP thing going and Doom 3 became Nvidias baby. Point I making is the 9800 Pro which was better than the 9700 is a good card sure its no 6600GT but its not fair to compare as they are a generation apart.

The system that could have worked with Quake 4 or Doom 3 well would do fine with this , well it will be more intensive with out door battles but you just lower the detail for that :p .
Game might actually play better than battlefield 2 though , it uses an old but overlooked method of rendering the terrain.. anyone remember that game that weighed 100k K.Krieger? . Quake wars maps will be rendered similarly using small algorithms instead of textures and mip maps proceduraly , instead of bieng hand painted by an artist , he'll just highlight an area for ''road'' texture , another for ''dirt'' etc. So it will be alot less intensive on your system repeating the same texture .. so the terrain won't be beautiful but it won't kill your rig like BF2 loves to do.
Also the game will be smaller than today's standard 6 cds ...
I loved enemy territory until recently , all these mods i have to wait an hour to load.. crash bugs and those same mods screw up the great gameplay and turns it into a gayfest worst than SOF2... thats what happens when no one supports the game for so long.. it goes down a path that makes no sense. Hopefully this installment will be worth the money and give Battlefield 2 and battlefront *cough ripoff *cough a run for their money ...
What i'd love to see is the developers make an Xbox 360 version / PS3 version compatible with PC for multiplayer so there will be endless players .
