COPPERS in Keene City in the US have been ordered to disconnect their computers when they visit Dunkin’ Donuts.
Apparently the police wireless modems are causing mayhem to the shop’s computer network. Everytime police made a visit, the computers crashed, and that was many times a day. US cops don’t have to pass fitness tests and eat a lot of donuts.
Sergeant Eliezer Rivera said that the problem was not just with the city's police computer system. The city's wireless network is pretty grim and only as fast as a dial-up connection.
Keene's City Council is looking into getting the police a faster, more extensive wireless network to make things better.
It had better be quick, if police have to switch off their computer’s everytime they use Dunkin Donuts, chances are their computers will hardly ever be switched on.
