The Center for Disease Control has issued a warning about a new
virulent strain of Sexually Transmitted Disease in T&T. The
disease is contracted through dangerous and high-risk behavior.
The new disease is called Gonorrhea Lectim (pronounced 'gonna
re-elect him'), but is commonly referred to as Patrick's Blight
or simply "having the Mannings".
Victims last contracted it in 2002 as a result of being screwed,
and have been deeply screwed for the past few years as a result.
Cognitive characteristics of individuals infected include: a..
anti-social personality disorders, b.. delusions of grandeur
with messianic overtones, c.. extreme cognitive dissonance, d..
inability to incorporate new information, e.. pronounced
xenophobia and paranoia, f.. inability to accept responsibility
for own actions, g.. cowardice masked by misplaced bravado, h..
uncontrolled facial smirking, and constantly referring to
oneself in the third person, i.. ignorance of geography and
history, especially involving places such as "Mucurapo",
"Valencia" and "Caroni", j.. tendencies towards evangelical
theocracy, k.. and categorical all-or-nothing behavior.
Naturalists and epidemiologists are amazed at how this
destructive disease originated, and are at a loss as to how to
halt its spread, although they remain hopeful that a cure will
be found by 2007.
