The REAL bling PC
« on: January 06, 2006, 09:19:53 AM »
Man talk about EXCESSIVE and TOTALLY unpractical... but you better bet diddy and other notoriously blinged out celebs/rappers may take a look at it for a PC of choice. It's a 24 karat GOLD plated PC from Voodoo and its SHINY, SHINY, SHINY!!!! Have a look:

IMO its not the outside....but the inside that counts....i could hav all dat bling, and be running ah lame @$$ pc, normal outside casing, even though normal these days is rather flashy, and have level beast wars power  on the inside!! PRINCIPLE IYMC!!!

Well to point out 2 things about this case...
1. Its encased in glass or someting so, prolly bullet proof so noone getting to it in the first place.
2. It was at the AMD boot in CES... AND its a Voodoo PC. Which means its prolly tricked out with a FX-55 and either SLI or Crossfire. So it's safe to say that PC is blinged on the outside and blinged on the inside.

Odds are you'll get more gold and silver from the circuit boards than from the case. Way I heard it there's scrap metal companies that "dispose" of your old computers, but the dont deal in anything else. Just reclaiming the copper, gold and silver from in the boards.

Gold would be a great conductor of heat, but with it being all smootha nd shiny like that, my guess is the blasted thing will just reflect the heat back at whatever's emitting.
