Can we change Usernames?

A feature such as this is usually only in the Admin Control Panel...hence only those with access can make the change...

i mean giving the users the ability to change wat others see their names as....not the actual sign in name....(just a suggestion)

well there are two "names"

Your sign in name and your display name.

For example:
Your sign in name: EmpireKing (this is what you use to log on)
Your Display Name: "UltraGameMasterPwner" (This is what everyone sees you as on the website)

You can change the latter under the user control panel at your whim and fancy.

Click on Account Related Settings under the section "Modify Profile"

There is no way to change the name that other people will see. It's there, but no way to change it.

Just double checked and that feature has been disabled with the last update for security reasons.

As a result, I am hesitant to turn it back on.

All is not lost, like Heady said, the administrators can still change your display name for you.

So just hit him or any other admin a PM/email/SMS/Instant Message/Carrier Pigeon and they will change it.

there will b too much confusion if users have the ability to change their names at there own will.


message a admin if u want a name changed dont expect another change anytime soon though.
