Yea i have one, a 80gig, works like a charm, altho I wish I had some sort of hook up so I could just use Winhipp to transfer games to the HDD with out having to either open up my pc to put in the ps2 HDD or waste dvds to transfer the games...

But still, its good, to me it cuts down loading time by ALOT, games that have ingame loading but still have lags, you dont get that with the HDD, could play GTA SA hours on end with out any sort of lag or anything...

I got a maxtor...but calibur, why you so worried dood? It doesnt have to be spacific so much...

What I did was I went to JK and they fixed me up, HDD + Network adaptor...got it at a reasonable price too...

EDIT: fyi, double posting is seen as a "no no"...but its ok.... And yea games are to expensive...original ;) Ony certain games that I really like and support I buy (eg GTA SA, GT4, DBZ)

Usually between 500-1000 kb/s.  Of course, the faster the hard-drive, the faster the transfer.
