I have tuh choose my words carefully here so that the mods doh delete the post so kinnahbear with meh.
I carry my ps2 slim by a certain repair place in san juan junction tuh fix the power connection at the back. it had become loose from some idiot roughin it up, however it was still working. so i drop my game in the place and when i come back fuh it the ppl tellin me they replace the jack in the back but the game not workin because the circuit board short out or some kinnah nonsense like that. So i like thas madness because i brought it workin so how come it not workin now. the man go tell me it had "german roaches" on the board and that cause the board tuh short out. Furthermore even though it was damaged on their premises i now have to pay $500 to fix it plus i dont get a refund of the $125 i paid before.

I left the place and went elsewhere where i was then informed that roaches dont eat silicone so that was a total buls#!t excuse i was given and on top of that i wasn't the first person that has happened too. Since then i tryin tuh call the boss of the place and i only hearin he not in or he busy right now. Somebody tell me where i supposed to go from here please

edited the little language bit, but everything else is fine.

Your choice of words seems fine so i will make sure this thread stay open.

But i think we should help this guy, that is really uncool what happened.

I dont know exactly what to do, i recommend that you continue trying to seek out the boss at the place.

Also, i dont know if the bureau of better business thingy can help in this situation.

if anyone knows what to do please help him.

yea the best thing to do is go by a lawyer and get something written on paper and carry it for them to hand ot the boss more than likely once they see it is a official warning of breaking the policy that is seller to customer than they might think a lil different ..im not sure if its a breach of any contract

after all they didnt give you a sheet of paper with warnings w/e and im sure that they didnt even fully tell you when you dropped it off to fex.
if this ever works out boy dont go by any other ps2 repair store beside jk ive been hearing alot of trouble about these other places .

i really do wonder how come so much ps2 in trinidad get damaged, is it because it's modded so it's easier to break. all i can say is do your best to get the money, i'm not to sure about the lawyer thing since u have to pay them anyways. how bout making a report, and state their fraudulent claims that roaches eat silicon

roaches don't eat silicon , but a big @ss nasty , wet roach finding its way inside your electronics will fry himself, and likely damage your stuff ...

Total rip off , they should do the repairs FREE ,mcs , don't worry about lawyer , just give the name of the store and we'll make sure no man in gatt goes to it .

gettin ah lawyer doh really make no sense cuz by the time yuh pay ah lawyer if yuh happen tuh get them replace the board yuh still will end up spendin more money

DAT IS REAL MC nonesense... that aside about the lawyer thing.. if he/she is good in the least you should be able to get the waste of time store to pay for ur legal fees.. however that is a lenghty process that will take forever, so best bet it to get someone who knows the owner or something so, or get a babilon partna to go in with yuh and ruff up some ppls till they let yuh see de boss man.

You could also make a report to the daily newspapers.

Express likes stories like these. See if you can get a news crew from Express or Tv6 to handle the story but let the establishment know by way of formal letter that you intend to do it. That should bring the bossman out of hiding. Also if anybody knows someone else who this has happened to let them all go to the media with their complaints. This would add more validity to your claim and may probe deeper investigations by the powers that be.

Even if nothing comes out of it, it would serve as some really bad advertisement for them and they would loose a lot of customers and on top of that I am pretty sure that modifying PS2's and selling copied discs is illegal so they wouldn't want to much attention to fall on their establishment.

So write them a letter then go to the media and sit back and wait for them to crumble.

Personally writing a letter to the newspapers is the best bet...they have these hotlines that people write to and get results from people who provided horrible service and more importantly...COMPENSATION!!!

Maybe that might work because that whole situation was messed up...cockroaches? STEUPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
