Biggest PC Games of 2005
« on: September 23, 2005, 03:22:45 PM »
Been wracking my brain over the hot PC titles for 2005

This is what I came up with.

Out Already:
*********
Swat 4
Empire Earth 2
Matrix online
Brothers in Arms
Guild Wars
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Battlefield 2
Dungeon Seige 2
Fable: The lost chapters
Advent Rising
Guns Online
knights of the old republic 2
Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil

Still to be released:
***************
Freedom Force vs The Third Reich
City of Villains
Black and White 2
Auto Assualt
Age of Empires 3
Fear
STALKER Shadow Of Chernobyl
Warhammer 40,000: Winter Assualt
DragonShard
Quake 4 (Maybe 2006?)

Any additions? What missin from there?

When I get a lil more time, will try to flush this out with a screen shot of each.

Wasn't Freedom Force released already? I think I beat that earlier this year :s

Matrix Online kinda flopped ent? Didn't do that good, got kinda shafted by WoW. Then again WoW has pulled in alot of gamers from other genres...

DAt reall true Kaizen they dont have one bad game i know some ppl saty that they dont like to play starcraft because the geraphics too old but the gamepay is still very good compared to other rts titles. Even the Lost Vikings games were excellent ah wonder if they'll bring out another one??? Must be really doing that now!!!

lol, that reminds me of all them star wars fans who could actually speak chewbacian, lmao! But then again, starcraft does infact have that kind of fanbase, even tho most of them has moved on to WC3 and prob even WoW...

lol

but of course! AOE3 iwmc.

as a big starcraft fan, I have been let down by the powers that be and denied a sequel.

however, all is not lost, as the Gods have seen it fit to bless us with Warhammer 40,000. This is actually the scifi works that the blizzard developers based Starcraft on!

That will be my unofficial "Starcraft 2"

Can't wait for the new one to drop. Winter Assault immc.

there is starcraft ghost which is a thrid erson game set in the stargraft universe. mind you it isnt waht fans had in mind and this game has been in slippage for almost 2yrs so who knows. i remember when Westwood had alomst killed the C&C franchise with renegade and accomplished it with generels. no wonder blizzard is caustious with its classic.

ppl on that list alyuh forget INDIGO PROPHCY and SERIOUS SAM 2 along with the Suffering 2
If I enjoy eating chicken does that make me a stereotype

I think it's a case that Blizzard is still making money off Starcraft & Brood Wars...so hey, if it ain't broke... :)

Maybe when the $$$ flow from those games slow down enough, maybe we might see a SC2...

Either way, when it comes out, that is one RTS that I jumping in for sure!  ^_^
