Ok so final exams done and now i can concentrate on hunting for an XBOX 360.....and all done
I see MS is saying they are manufacturing XBOX systems to send out every week and they want to have a certain quota sold by christmas. Well analysis can show many different outcomes. Im looking at what MS business strategy is. I feel, or HOPE rather they are trying a Matrix on us.....you know showing us one thing and its really something else
The sellout of the XBOX 360 on launch was because there were clearly not enough systems. People that pre ordered did not get their systems on launch day. So the question is if MS is playing a game? This was a huge question amongst the game developers late last week and this week.
Are they making it LOOK like the 360 is selling well by selling less? So now they are gonna unleash their horde of consoles on the market and its gonna sell like crazy. Could very well be true. Perfect Dark Zero seems to be EVERYTHING that its cracked up to be and frankly speaking im glad. Its the first XBOX exclusive that is worth getting and no doubt the LIVE waves are ALL FIRING up with PD0 online.....damn
Another thing is we see the demand for the console still. It didnt just die after tuesday as many people think. the system reached over 4500 US in bids on launch day. EBAY counts 1800 pre-bought systems were resold on ebay that day. You can go on Ebay as of this post and get one for about 8 bill US. Hell no i not paying that.
So i gonna go hunting between now and when i come home for a 360. Im EXPECTING MS to unleash a ton of 360 consoles for the xmas. Many gamers want a 360, no doubt about that. And if they cant get one for xmas many people gonna "blame MS" etc etc (insert anti-fanboy comment here). So i would EXPECT that MS gets up and running. To add to that this is possibly their ONLY CHANCE to get a BIG BIG jump on the next gen console sales. I mean what better time than XMAS. So fingers crossed, heres hoping....
