Oill Cooling ur PC (I guess bush spoke some sense after all)

Well a while back Bushman made a comment about cooling ur system with Cooking oil. Now most (myself included) were very skeptical about this even though I did comment that in theory it could work. Well seems some brace soul out there has put this cooling solution to the test. The following are a few pics of said system and the links to the persons page:

this same thing was done a while ago

guy foned in to tech tv on screen saverss and told leo all about it

he used a fridge instead
and it only works with mineral oil

the problem is, which the first guy found out

is that if yu drop it past -20 or so, the oil co agulates and freezes the mechanical parts of the machine from moving
like platters

Havoline 20W/50?  Prefer Mobil 15W/40 myself!

Water is still the best 'all-round' liquid for cooling!
